Do you remember the Alamo? Stop by here and say, "Wow, this is smaller than I thought it would be!" This free attraction is a must for first-time visitors. Perfect to stop by and learn about Texas History (a class Paige had to take in 7th grade and remembers very little of, but she does remember the Alamo!)
The Dienger is a quirky vintage bistro serving breakfast, sandwiches, beer & wine in a 19th-century building that has been a general store and a library. Delivious coffee and food with tons of gluten-free and vegan options.
Beautiful cavern right near the Poco Loco Ranch. The Cave Without a Name is a limestone solutional cave in the Texas Hill Country region of central Texas. It is a National Natural Landmark. It is naturally 70 degrees year-round and was one of Paige's favorite places in high school.
Our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant! Austin did not understand why Paige had such high standards for Mexican food until he came here over Thanksgiving of 2019. There are two locations, but this is the one frequented most often by the Hardy's. The tortillas are homemade and truly worth buying a dozen to take home with you.
This library is a beautiful architectural statement in Boerne. It is a highly ecologically sustainable building with an adjoining book shop next door. Paige would come here to fill out college applications (including her application to Baylor). The Patrick Heath Public Library is the home of several Art Al Fresco public art pieces and the amphitheater where arts and cultural events are hosted year-round.
This is a great restaurant with great burgers, hotdogs, and beer. They have a lot of yummy gluten-free options as well. Take some of your extra bread across the street to the river to feed the ducks like Paige and her family did as kids!
