We are so lucky to be able to get married at the historic Air Force Academy. While most things look and feel like a traditional wedding venue, there are a couple of extra security measures that are required to get on base. If you RSVP "yes" to our wedding, you will receive a link via email at the end of August prompting you to register for base approval. This will require your social security number and drivers license number. This form must be submitted by September 1st to ensure approval in time for our wedding. When entering the base, you will need your drivers license or passport for entry. Please reach out with any questions or concerns about this process!
Please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes early. Though getting through the gate is typically fast, there can sometimes be delays. There is a home Air Force Academy football game that day (time is TBD), which may increase traffic - please plan accordingly!
We are so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest friends and family. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate everyone's plus one due to venue capacity and only those formally invited can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation. When you RSVP, it will list those invited in your party.
Dressy-casual attire is encouraged. We are grateful that you are here and want you to be comfortable! Please note that the ceremony will be outdoors on grass, so plan footwear accordingly.
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue!
Welcome to Colorado! In early September, we typically expect warmer temperatures during the day (80's) and cooler temperatures when the sun goes down (50-60's). Remember, higher elevation means you're closer to the sun, so we recommend wearing sunscreen and dressing in layers. Also, don't forget to drink LOTS of water!
The ceremony will be outdoors and will last approximately 30 minutes. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
