Our meet-cute involves a fire drill, a band party, awkward freshmen, and most importantly: Meredith doing what she does best and inserting herself into a conversation. After seeing a hallmate talking to a cute guy at a fire drill at their dorm, Mere introduced herself and found out that Ben was also going to the same party she was- ah, college, am I right? Later on that night, she made the first move, also typical Meredith fashion, and the rest is history.

Like any normal modern couple, you're bound to talk about your future together. After agreeing that their relationship was heading toward marriage, Mere started to notice Ben started planning more elaborate dates more frequently than usual, clearly to throw her off the scent for the real one where Ben would pop the question. However, it was Meredith's mom asking her and Ben to meet her at the Jefferson in Richmond with some family where Ben got down on one knee. He then surprised her with having their entire families waiting with a champagne toast downstairs. We are so excited to be getting married, so come celebrate an early Christmas with us later this year!
