FAQs

We know planning travel and details for a wedding - especially a destination one - can bring up lots of questions! Here, we’ve gathered answers to the most common things guests asked about our big day. We’ll be updating this section as more questions come in, so keep an eye out for new info. If you don’t see your question here or need anything else, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We’re so excited to celebrate with you!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by August 1, 2026 We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Since this is a destination wedding for most of our guests, we kindly ask that you RSVP by August 1, 2026, so we can finalize travel, meals, and seating arrangements. Please let us know whether or not you’ll be joining us by this date - we truly hope to see you there!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm, so we ask that guests arrive by 3:30pm to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled. If you’re taking the shuttle from the hotel, it will be timed to get you to the venue with plenty of time before the ceremony begins. Final shuttle details and pickup times will be shared closer to the wedding date - stay tuned on our website for updates!

Question

Are there hotel room blocks available for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved room blocks for our wedding weekend. Our preferred hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown, is now fully booked. If you’d like to stay within walking distance of the shuttle and other events, we have secured a discount at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. You can find more details and the booking code for this hotel in the Travel section of our website. We also have a second, more budget-friendly option at Home2 Suites Rochester Greece, which does not require a two-night minimum. Booking links and full details for all accommodations can be found in the Travel section.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing shuttle transportation to and from the venue. The shuttle will pick up guests staying at both the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown and the Hyatt Regency Rochester, with a single pickup and drop-off location outside of the Hilton Garden Inn. While we may list a few additional nearby lodging options for your convenience, the shuttle will operate exclusively from this designated pickup location. We’ll share details about which hotel will have shuttle service - along with timing and pickup information - closer to the wedding date. Stayed tuned on our website for updates!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking available right at the venue for all guests.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’re so excited to spend extra time celebrating with you - we’ll be hosting a welcome dinner and a farewell brunch at the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown. You can find more details in the Schedule section of our website.
