Things To Do in Indy

We know that we are but a small reason for your luxurious vacation to Indianapolis. Here are some of our recommendations for you to pursue while you consider moving here with your friends and family.

Black Market

922 Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46202
, (317) 822-6757

One of our favorite restaurants in the city. American staple food and fantastic tiki bar.

Bakersfield Mass Ave

334 Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46204
, (317) 635-6962

Timo and Marg love margs. This is our favorite in Indianapolis. Dope tacos too.

Seasons 52

8650 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240
, (317) 846-5252

This wine bar is where we went for our first date. Maggie ordered bubbly to celebrate a successful date, but they have a huuuge selection of wine. Their flatbreads are great, and don't skip dessert.

HopCat

6280 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46220
, (317) 565-4236

You beer lovers wont find a better tap list in Indy - Timo loves it because his favorite style of beer (sours) can hardly be found anywhere, but here there are usually at least 7 options. Come for the beer, stay because you get addicted to the crack fries.

Brugge Brasserie

1011 East Westfield Boulevard, Indianapolis, IN 46220
, (317) 255-0978

Local brewery in Broadripple that serves Belgian food as it was meant to be served: covered in frites.

Delicia

5215 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46220
, (317) 925-0677

Brunch is served here only on Sunday mornings. It is Broadripple's secret gem. Timo recommends the chilaquiles with eggs and chicken. And just ask Margaret - Timo always orders best.

Cafe Patachou

8697 River Crossing Boulevard, Indianapolis, IN 46240
, (317) 815-0765

It's somewhat obscene how many times we have been here for brunch. They have good coffee and there is just about nothing in the world as magical as a bite into their cinnamon toast.

Petite Chou Bistro & Champagne Bar

823 Westfield Boulevard, Indianapolis, IN 46220
, (317) 259-0765

Patachou's older sister, this is an upper scale French restaurant that never fails to wow.

Louie's Wine Dive & Ripple Kitchen

701 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46220
, (317) 722-0140

Great food, trendy atmosphere, and enough wine to get a herd of elephants sloshed. They have a location on Mass Ave as well. Note: This is not Bar Louie, its way better.

Siam Square

936 Virginia Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203
, (317) 636-8424

We aren't huge fans of Asian food, but this is one of our favorite places in the city. Because good Thai is just on a different level.

Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery

702 Virginia Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203
, (317) 653-1806

Best craft cocktails with a rotating menu. As of this writing, the David S. Pumpkins and the Tumeric and Morty are on their list. Cuz they hip wit it.

Punch Bowl Social Indianapolis

120 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46225
, (317) 249-8613

Fun boozy nightspot with bowling, darts, ping-pong, connect 4, karaoke, cornhole (or bags if you're from a bit further north), and more.

Fort Harrison State Park

6000 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, IN 46216
, (317) 591-0904

This is a beautiful state park. While Margaret was running a half marathon here, Timo bravely approached KP and asked if he could marry Maggie. Then they proceeded to harass at least one hundred runners with "encouragement," as tradition calls for a father and son-in-law-to-be to do in that situation.

100 Acres Walk

1850 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46228
, (317) 923-1331

We had our second date here (and our first kiss). We walked around the trails, looked at the beautiful art and scenery, and spent hours just talking and relaxing.

Topgolf

9200 East 116th Street, Fishers, IN 46037
, (765) 212-3488

Someday, Timo will drag Marg here. Lets hope it happens before the big day so he can back out in time if she is really, really bad. If you aren't familiar, its like bowling, but for golf.

IKEA

11400 IKEA Way, Fishers, IN 46037
, (888) 888-4532

Don't ask why its an area of interest, we don't get it either. But people in Indy are nuts about IKEA.

For all the days along the way
