One of our favorite restaurants in the city. American staple food and fantastic tiki bar.
Timo and Marg love margs. This is our favorite in Indianapolis. Dope tacos too.
This wine bar is where we went for our first date. Maggie ordered bubbly to celebrate a successful date, but they have a huuuge selection of wine. Their flatbreads are great, and don't skip dessert.
You beer lovers wont find a better tap list in Indy - Timo loves it because his favorite style of beer (sours) can hardly be found anywhere, but here there are usually at least 7 options. Come for the beer, stay because you get addicted to the crack fries.
Local brewery in Broadripple that serves Belgian food as it was meant to be served: covered in frites.
Brunch is served here only on Sunday mornings. It is Broadripple's secret gem. Timo recommends the chilaquiles with eggs and chicken. And just ask Margaret - Timo always orders best.
It's somewhat obscene how many times we have been here for brunch. They have good coffee and there is just about nothing in the world as magical as a bite into their cinnamon toast.
Patachou's older sister, this is an upper scale French restaurant that never fails to wow.
Great food, trendy atmosphere, and enough wine to get a herd of elephants sloshed. They have a location on Mass Ave as well. Note: This is not Bar Louie, its way better.
We aren't huge fans of Asian food, but this is one of our favorite places in the city. Because good Thai is just on a different level.
Best craft cocktails with a rotating menu. As of this writing, the David S. Pumpkins and the Tumeric and Morty are on their list. Cuz they hip wit it.
Fun boozy nightspot with bowling, darts, ping-pong, connect 4, karaoke, cornhole (or bags if you're from a bit further north), and more.
This is a beautiful state park. While Margaret was running a half marathon here, Timo bravely approached KP and asked if he could marry Maggie. Then they proceeded to harass at least one hundred runners with "encouragement," as tradition calls for a father and son-in-law-to-be to do in that situation.
We had our second date here (and our first kiss). We walked around the trails, looked at the beautiful art and scenery, and spent hours just talking and relaxing.
Someday, Timo will drag Marg here. Lets hope it happens before the big day so he can back out in time if she is really, really bad. If you aren't familiar, its like bowling, but for golf.
Don't ask why its an area of interest, we don't get it either. But people in Indy are nuts about IKEA.
