Unfortunately, while we love kids, we decided to keep this an adults only affair. You are welcome to bring kids to our ceremony and to Sunday brunch, but we will not be having children at our reception. If you need help arranging for child care in Indianapolis, give us a call and we would be happy to connect you with someone to babysit!
There is all sorts of free street parking around the church where our ceremony will be held. In addition, there are a fair number of places at the reception venue where you can park. There will be time between the ceremony and the reception to stop back at the hotel if you want. The hotel is about a $10 Uber ride to and from the reception venue, so if you don't want to worry about driving, that is always an option.
For our sanity, we would love it if you could RSVP by August 31st.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30pm. Please get there by 2:00p to ensure that we have time to get you and all the other guests seated.
We don't have a dress code persay, but you wont see Timo in shorts and boat shoes or Margaret in a low cut dress and fishnets. Use your best judgement. You'll be in a Catholic church and at a wedding. Also, note that the reception will be outside. September 22 typically is still quite warm in Indianapolis during the day (70s) but as it gets later it may get down to around 50 degrees.
By all means, but please do so sooner rather than later. Finding out about an allergy two weeks before the wedding is going to be far more difficult to resolve than two months before. We also plan to have vegetarian and gluten-free food options, so if you need one of these just let us know!
