For planning purposes, we kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. If your invitation includes children or plus-ones, we can't wait to have them join us. Otherwise, we appreciate your understanding as we keep our celebration intimate.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving by 4:20-4:30pm to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and enjoying the view.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony takes place in a beautiful vineyard setting, so please dress for warm weather. We invite you to wear elevated cocktail attire in light, breathable fabrics. Ladies, we suggest dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant summer gowns. Gentlemen, dress slacks paired with a collared shirt and jacket would be perfect.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? What will the weather be like?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors overlooking the vineyard and mountains, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will be indoors and outdoors, with reception festivities indoors with access to outdoor spaces. Early September in North Carolina is typically warm, with daytime temperatures often in the 70s–80s, so we recommend dressing comfortably for the season.

Will there be a shuttle service to the venue?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle service. We recommend renting a car or coordinating rideshares to get to Spinning Leaf, as Shelby is a small town and transportation options are limited.
