We met at work. He was doing returns around the store while I was folding the clothes. He asked me for help every chance he got, even when he didn't need it. Eventually, we started looking for each other at work just so we could make small talk. One night after closing, he helped a friend load a couch and I yelled "PIVOT", and that was our icebreaker. He sent me the Friends episode that line was in, and the rest is history.

We planned on taking bluebonnet pictures weeks prior, but the weather wasn't cooperating. It was nearing the end of the season, so we were running out of time. We got one sunny day and decided to go for it. Our friend and photographer, Courtney, was on board with the idea and met us in a field by sparetime in Temple. We were nearing the end of the photos, and Courtney and I were talking for a second. When I turned around, he was down on one knee and popped the question!
