House Or Rental
We HIGHLY recommend booking an Airbnb. There are many Airbnb's in the area, but our preference for you would be to stay in Sayulita. Sayulita has more english speaking tourists, nightlife, restaurants, and an accessible beach. The towns nearby are Lo de Marcos, San Pancho, and Guayabitos. These are great locations as well, but they are a bit more secluded and less touristy. You are also welcome to stay in Bucerias or Puerto Vallarta, however these locations may require more driving (estimated 45 minute drive from the Hacienda Antigua).

Travel Note
Download the Hopper App to keep track of low prices on Airfare! It sends you notifications and tracks your dates. Average flights to Mexico cost around $400-$500, so if you find a good deal definitely get it!
Rental Car
Great place to rent a car from! If you walk to the Thrifty's across the street from the airport, you'll find better prices! Just ask for directions, it is easy to find. Other Car Rental options are Gecko, Hertz, and Enterprise.
Rental Car
Use the Uber app when possible! Cheaper than Taxi's, but once you get to Sayulita, they are not offered so be cautious and look for marked taxis. The Taxi's are safe and the drivers are knowledgeable, but they are a bit more expensive so have your pesos ready! Taxi Tips! Only use marked taxis and always agree on the taxi price before starting the trips.
Flight
The Airport that you will fly into is the Puerto Vallarta Airport.
Flight
Taxis usually cost around 500-700 pesos ($30-$40 usd). The ride from PVR to Sayulita is around 45 minutes. Taxis are available right outside the terminal, but be cautious as the drivers can be very pushy. If you don't mind a short walk, walk over the pedestrian bridge and take a taxi on the other side of the highway instead... you'll get a better deal! Private Transportation usually costs $100 usd, but can be arranged prior to your flight. Check Sayulitalife.com for options.
Rental Car
If you are driving a rental car, take it slow coming out of the airport. The local traffic police will often set up speed traps just north of the airport to give tourists tickets.
