It's funny how they always say, when you know...you know. Tahirah and Donte met wayyy back in August 2011. Tahirah had just been released from the hospital due to some medical concerns and had a few friends over for moral support. Then she met Donte, by surprise, they share mutual friends, and the friendship formed from there. Tahirah had feelings first, but Donte friend-zoned her. Months went by, and they had their first kiss on 18th birthday. The friendship was up and down, but eventually Donte took a step out on faith, and the rest is history.

Tahirah and Donte have been together for well over a decade. From the start of their budding friendship, they knew they would always be a part of each other's lives. Tahirah and Donte have been by each other's side from graduations to the birth of their children, and even now as they are moving towards the future. They share a love of humor, family values, and music. It is evident that they were meant to be. They eloped in their living room on their anniversary date (03/26/2022) to solidify their forever commitment to each other.
