It all started back in high school. They met through a mutual friend who happened to play baseball with him. She had gone up to that friend for advice about trying out for the softball team (even though she’d never played before) and that’s when he first saw her. He jumped in to offer some advice too, and she definitely noticed him. The next day, the friend asked her what she thought of “Angel,” but she had no clue who he meant—she’d been too focused (and nervous!) about softball. Then she realized it was the cute boy standing next to the friend! Not long after, Angel asked for her Instagram and slid into her DMs. They started talking about sports, joked about whether she could score a goal on him (he used to play soccer when he was little), and the connection was instant. Then, just before history class one day, right outside the bungalows, Angel asked her out, and of course, she said yes! They officially started dating on March 1st, 2016. After that, they began spending time together after his baseball and her softball practices. One of their first real dates was going to see Zootopia at the movie theater, a memory they both still hold close. They were just 15 and 16 years old when their story began—two teenagers with no idea they were stepping into something so lasting and full of love. From high school hallways to forever—this is their story, and it’s only just beginning.
