Mike and Emily are overjoyed to celebrate this special day with all of you! Their journey began on a dating app, though Mike often teases that Emily ghosted him before reconnecting on another platform— she calls it “revisionist history”! But in reality, it didn’t take long for both of them to know they’d found something special. They spent their first date together talking and enjoying each other's company, and by their second date, Mike was already planning a birthday weekend getaway (thankfully, not a “murder getaway”!) while Emily was telling her flatmate how extraordinary Mike was. By the third month of dating, Emily was already begging Mike not to buy a studio flat because she wanted to move in together. Their love grew even stronger living together in Leith, and not long after, they bought a home together in Bonnyrigg (closing on the house the day after Mike proposed!). Now, they’re sharing their best life with their two beloved dogs. ​ It’s been an incredible journey, and they can’t wait to continue it with all of you by their side!
