Do I need a visa to travel to Turkiye?

What is acceptable attire to wear in Istanbul?

Istanbul is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with a mix of modern and traditional influences, so you’ll see a wide range of styles. In general, comfortable and stylish casual wear is perfect for exploring. For sightseeing: Wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll likely be walking a lot, especially on cobblestone streets and hills. Layers are a good idea, as the weather can change throughout the day. For mosques and religious sites: Modest attire is required—women should bring a scarf to cover their heads, and both men and women should wear clothing that covers their knees and shoulders. Most mosques provide scarves and wraps if needed. For evenings/dinners: Istanbul has a fantastic restaurant and nightlife scene, so you might want to dress up a bit for fancier restaurants or rooftop bars. Smart casual attire (e.g., nice jeans/dress pants with a blouse/shirt) works well.

Yes, there will be an open bar at both the wedding in Turkiye and the reception in Idaho.

Will there be transportation provided?
Answer
We will provide transportation from Istanbul to Bursa on May 22 in the late morning, and return transportation from Bursa to both Istanbul airports on May 25. Guests traveling from outside of Turkey should plan their departing flights for May 25 at 5:00 PM or later to allow ample time for travel.

While we adore your children, our wedding will be an adults-only event. Additionally, our Idaho reception will be held at a venue that is 21+. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
