It all started with a little family intuition. Oluwasijibomi is good friends with Christianah’s cousin, and when Christianah’s aunt noticed their similar personalities, style and taste, she just knew they’d be a great match. She told Christianah, “There’s someone I think you should meet.” Naturally, Christianah did her homework (extensively! lol) and gave her aunt the green light to make the introduction. From there, Oluwasijibomi and Christianah began getting to know each other. A few weeks of conversation turned into a real connection and they eventually decided to go on a date. On that first date, they joked that there was no pressure to like one another or be together, because let’s be honest, family setups can come with a lot of expectations, but the vibe was undeniable. From dinner dates to fun outings (Oluwasijibomi’s love for pool meant their early dates had to include a game or two), travel, birthdays and holidays in between, their bond grew stronger. As friends and as partners, they found in each other exactly what they both needed. And now, here we are celebrating happily ever Ishola.
