Where is the ceremony?

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If the weather cooperates, the ceremony will take place under the large mulberry tree behind the house. Cocktail hour will be on the grounds and the reception will be in the air-conditioned gazebo. If inclement weather occurs, the ceremony will happen inside the barn on the property and the cocktail hour and reception will both be in the gazebo.

Where is the reception?

The reception will also be held at Amber Grove in the gazebo on the property. It has AC, don't worry!

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at the venue for you to park for free or be dropped off.

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Yes! You can leave your car parked at the venue overnight. It just must be picked up by noon on Sunday, 9/21.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at 4:00 PM EST. In order to ensure that everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask that you arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. This will give you ample time to find your seats and get settled before the ceremony begins. We understand that things can happen, but please make every effort to be on time. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the ceremony without any interruptions.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

We kindly ask that all guests planning to attend RSVP online by July 31st.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We did try to minimize children attending so that we could ensure everyone is able to enjoy the occasion. Only immediate family have been invited to bring their children.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

We can only accommodate the people on the list. The wedding invite will state if you have the option to bring a plus one. If your invite says "and guest" or includes your significant other, then you're in luck!

Cocktail attire, please! Suits and ties for men, and cocktail dresses or jumpsuits for women.

To comply with Chesterfield county's noise ordinance, the reception at Amber Grove will end at 10pm. If you'd like to continue celebrating, the bride and groom will be heading to Capital Ale House 15 minutes away at 13831 Village Place Drive, Midlothian VA 23114.
