I met Adam online, but certainly not Tinder! We were searching for university accommodation. When Adam arrived at the University of Southampton, he was a scrawny, cut-off jean-wearing kid from 'Ooop Norf'. We lived together for three years through our university experience and forged endless memories. I first met Alexa on my boat at St. Katharine Docks Marina (Central London). It was a long night as all in attendance endured the screeching of Disney songs; unsurprisingly, there were complaints from local residents the next day!

I am one of Alexa's childhood best friends and partner in crime. Our adventures took us to Peconic Dunes together where we immediately fell in love with camp. Returning as counselors in training, we met a charming and handsome Brit named Adam and the rest is history! I have gotten the pleasure of spending lots of time with Alexa and Adam and was there every step of the way as they made a transatlantic relationship look as easy as living down the road from each other. You can usually find me working in psychology research in Boston, doing yoga, or sipping on an espresso martini!

I first met Adam during our PGCE. Neither of us knew where the first lecture was so gravitated towards each other. We complained about our teaching experiences, ate lots of food, & watched plenty of sport. Once qualified, we got a flat together. Living there had its difficulties: I constantly persuaded Adam to exercise, accidentally visiting Rome on Valentine’s Day & defeating an infestation of ladybirds. Alexa was a welcomed addition to our flat during her studies in London. We enjoyed thanksgiving meals & touristy days out. I remember meeting up the happy couple in Brooklyn. It was cute to see their matching salmon-colored T-shirts. It was less cute that I arrived wearing precisely the same. Promptly, I purchased a new t-shirt to prevent others from thinking I was a third-wheel.

When I first met Alexa at the University of Maryland, I was intimidated by, and in awe of, her poise, beauty, intelligence and wit. This feeling quickly turned into admiration and love when Alexa came back from studying abroad and moved into the Phi Chi apartment I was living in. Many cups of tea, hugs, backaches, fashion advice and laughs later, we became the best of friends! Adam visited (virtually) many times, but I really first got to know him at the elopement of 2020 - helping him arrange flowers and chatting about his 'wedding vision'. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect person for Alexa. His humor, sincerity, kindness, and charm compliments her in every way. Accompanying Alexa on guitar as she walked down the aisle will forever be one of the greatest honors of my life!

I first met Adam on our PGCE at the University of Winchester. We were young, athletic males in their prime who should have been drawn together over common ground. This was not the case! We dismissed each other as 'boring' along with the other course participants. Somehow, this mutual apathy blossomed into a friendship that has stood the test of time. I often say that Adam holds similarities to me; however, he is more of a diva 💅🏻. I would love to comment on Alexa, but after seven years have still not met her in person. I have been skeptical about the existence of Adam's 'hot, American girlfriend' who is conveniently never around when I am 🤔. Unless this is the most elaborate prank in history, I can't wait to meet Alexa and all the wedding guests!

Watching Adam and Alexa finally confirm their union in October 2020 was a magical experience. I’ve known Alexa since I was 10 years old, and ever since then she has always known exactly what she wants and has always gone after it with all she’s got. Our 4th grade classroom would have crumbled if Alexa wasn’t there. The same goes for when she met Adam years later at Peconic Dunes. They made long-distance work for 7 years and not even a global pandemic would get in the way of their love for one another. I am beyond excited to watch Adam and Alexa grow together as a couple and celebrate their commitment to one another in Adam's home country of England. Adam and Alexa are a perfect match, and it’s an honor to stand by her as she marries the love of her life.

Like Greg, I first met Adam on our PGCE at the University of Winchester. We bonded by singing 'Let It Go' from 'Frozen' at the top of our lungs into the early hours of the morning in the local pubs and taverns. Adam insisted that he had a girlfriend across the pond throughout the year, and again like Greg, this was something I was skeptical about, considering his affection for a tight vest. I first met Alexa at Ben and Capri Gunn's wedding (who are also guests of this wedding). After much questioning, it appeared that Adam had, in fact, been telling the truth all along. We had a great night making the most of the free table-wine and croquet. In fact, I vividly remember Alexa and I taking advantage of Adam in his drunken state and hiding his sock for over an hour!

The first time I met Alexa we were sitting next to each other in the St. Patrick church basement nervously waiting to be confirmed….oh how things change. 12 years later I’ve learned the only thing stronger than Alexa’s love for God is the love she found with Adam. Seeing a relationship like Alexa and Adam’s blossom the way we all have over the last 9 years is the kind of love we all dream about. Through thick and thin, customs and covid, they’ve built a life together that’s so special and infinite. The love I have for the two of you is endless! I can’t wait to celebrate the most beautiful couple come this July and share Alexa’s most embarrassing stories with Adam’s family ♡

I met Adam at West London Free School Primary; he was dressed to impress! I thought he was an 'Essex Boy!' as he was strutting his stuff in a see-through shirt & slip-on brown shoes. Our bromance blossomed quickly. He dragged me to the gym & watched my muscles grow. In return, I imparted some wisdom to him: how to juggle London life, handle his drink and not act a complete 'tit' all of the time! Sadly, this period of maturity was short-lived. Adam thought it appropriate to send me a video of him eating lychees extremely exotically. In gest, I shared it amongst teaching staff, and rather than mocking Adam, eating fruit exotically became a bloody trend... I am yet to meet Alexa, but I cannot wait to party the night away with her. To put up with Adam, she must be an absolute saint!

Alexa is my dearest and sweetest cousin. She ranks among my favorites, just above Paddington but tied with Thomas the Train, that cheeky little tank engine. I have such fond memories of the wonderful time when she and her college friends held a fundraiser in honor of my alma mater, CNMC (Children's National Medical Center). I met Adam briefly for the first time over Zoom during the pandemic. I can’t wait to finally meet him in person; I hear he’s an absolute geezer.
