Can you believe it? We are getting married 'again.' 🇺🇸 Americans: get your passports ready and pop the champagne as we can't wait to celebrate. 🇬🇧 Brits: raise a glass because no good story starts with a salad.

Our story began more than eight years ago when what was supposed to be a summer romance turned out to be way more than either of us had bargained for! It was 2013 when we met while working at the Peconic Dunes Summer Camp on the North Fork of Long Island, New York. That summer, we built a working relationship, and before we knew it, romance was in the air! We enjoyed a lovely, carefree summer together and even shared our very first kiss on the Great Pond at Peconic but sadly, there was a catch. Alexa lived in America and Adam in jolly, old England! Later that year, we met again at a Christmas reunion, and our magnetic connection was undeniable.

Truth be told, we arranged to be married before Adam officially proposed. Eleven days before the wedding, he panicked and made the rash decision to muddle a proposal together. It turned out to be a surprise picnic at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve, and a stranger captured the moment on their phone. Alexa wasn't too impressed, considering he hadn't prepared her for this formality, and she was in her sweaty gym kit.

On the 21st of October 2020, we 'tied the knot' on Shelter Island, New York. It was an intimate ceremony with a homemade arbor, espresso martinis, and an ice cream wedding cake from Magic Fountain! Due to the pandemic, many of our family and friends could not join in person, but every cloud has a silver lining as now we get to celebrate again with all of you!
