What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal/cocktail attire. We would love to see our guests dress up a bit for the big day, but no need for tuxedos or gowns. For our summer wedding, our ceremony will be held outdoors on a lawn (weather permitting). We suggest that men wear a lightweight suit in any color and women wear a midi or knee-length cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. We want you to be comfortable!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outside on the lawn at our Belle Mer venue. The reception will primarily be held indoors with space outside to enjoy the ocean views.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Though we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding events an adults-only affair (unless named/included on your RSVP). We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to have a night of relaxation and uninhibited celebration!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they appear when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be buses to transport guests from the Wyndham Newport Hotel, Holiday Inn Express, and Hampton Inn & Suites in Middletown to Belle Mer in Newport before the ceremony and back after the reception.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 7, 2024. Hotel blocks are also first come first serve, so please plan to book early!
