Visit the Nicest Place in America: Columbiana, Ohio!
Jacquelyn's hometown of Columbiana was just crowned Reader's Digest Nicest Place in America 2019! It is well-worth the trip to see the cute stores on Main Street and our lovely Firestone Park.
Das Dutch Haus Restaurant
This restaurant has been Columbiana's favorite since 1982. They have amazing food, a breakfast buffet to die for (Jacquelyn highly suggest trying the scrambled eggs and french toast sticks), and donuts that will blow your mind! They actually just won Best Bakery in Ohio! We will have plenty of their famous creamsticks at the reception... Yum 😛
Firestone Park
Columbiana recently did major renovations on Mirror Lake in the heart of Firestone Park and there is now a beautiful trail to walk on around the lake! Also, there is another walking trail enclosed in the woods near the Baseball fields! If you enjoy beautiful walks like Josh and Jacquelyn do, then you won't want to miss these two destinations.
Firestone Park Pool
Jacquelyn was a lifeguard here for 3 years and highly recommends it if you are looking for a place to cool off! Tell Terry, the manager, that she says hello.
White House Fruit Farm Inc
Amazing donuts and a beautiful lake... what could be better?! Jacquelyn recommends the peanut butter cake donut while Josh recommends the blueberry cake donut 😍
Sports World
Josh and Jacquelyn have been on several dates at this fun location! They have a multiple level mini golf course and go-kart racing that is fun for the whole family!
Handel's Homemade Ice Cream
Handel's Homemade Ice Cream first opened in Youngstown, OH in 1945 and has since become a famous all over the country- and for good reason- it's amazing! Jacquelyn and Josh recommend trying the Peanut Butter Parfait or Graham Central Station 🍦
