Although Jason has known Duffy longer than he has known Kayla (by about 30 years), both of them consider Jason to be a crucial member of their lives. Jason was one of the first friends Kayla made after moving to Pittsburgh and he had the pleasure of watching each of them grow and change into the person they are now. It was through Jason that Duffy and Kayla first met, and it was Jason who spent time talking to each of them one on one about what their relationship could look like. He offered them so much encouragement and enthusiasm before they even started dating. To have someone so caring and so important to two people individually as well as their journey together is truly amazing. Having Jason be the one who helps them take this next step as well just made sense.
Best Man
If you were to ask Duffy on the first day he met Arod if he'd be life-long friends with the kid who kicked in his dorm door and played a riff on an air guitar, he would have been skeptical. However the two boys quickly became fast friends over their shared interest in TV shows, movies, and all things ridiculous. The have watched each other grow from college freshmen to business professionals, making sure the road along the way was littered with laughs. Since meeting Kayla for the first time, Arod has offered so much encouragement to Duffy such as "don't mess this one up." Arod has been a listening ear, a source of advice, and a shoulder to lean on from day one. Both Kayla and Duffy feel honored to have him as their friend and as someone who will stand by them on this day and through their lives ahead.
Matron of Honor
Kleyda first met Kayla online through an online talk show. The two of them bonded over crafts, nerdy things, games, and an eerily similar way of thinking. Although the group they met through eventually fell apart, the two have done nothing but draw closer together over the past four years. Despite the distance between them, they talk every day. Kleyda knew from the first time Kayla talked about Duffy that they were something special and has never offered anything other than immense care and support for the both of them. Kayla couldn't imagine celebrating a day like this without having her long-distance bestie by her side.
Groomsman
Duffy and Piper met in college and are still close even after everything life through their way. Broken hands, stupid arguments, Piper's move to Germany - nothing could ever stop these two from talking and laughing with each other. Duffy has always felt that Piper challenges him to be a better version of himself without even knowing it. Piper and his wife, Jana, both welcomed Kayla into their home as a stranger when Kayla and Duffy traveled to Germany. Piper and his family have recently moved back to Pittsburgh, and Duffy and Kayla are so excited to be able to have someone as wonderful as him close by them on their wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Norah began her relationship with Jason around the same time that Kayla and Duffy began theirs. Double dates eventually became girls nights where Norah and Kayla would talk about their relationships, their jobs, and life in general. It was Norah who took Kayla engagement ring shopping and passed along all the information to Duffy. She also began a countdown to every big trip or event Kayla and Duffy had planned in the last year, hoping that they would get engaged "in just three more days!" on more than one occasion. She has been a consistent system of support, enthusiasm, and a beacon of fun since the day they met. How could anyone celebrate a day like this without her beside them?
Groomsman
Hamilton has always been described as a wild card. Many of the first stories Kayla heard about Duffy's college years involved him in some way. Duffy and Hamilton met their freshman year at University of Pitt in Johnstown and became very close friends, despite not knowing each other's first names until they were sophomores. They've lived together, raised a puppy together, and now live several states apart but still manage to maintain their closeness. Duffy has always relied on Hamilton not only for his high energy fun, but also for his sound business advice. Hamilton has calmed down a little since their college days, and now everyone knows him as Duffy always has: as a friend who will help you or anyone you love without a second of hesitation.
Bridesmaid
Duffy was the one who introduced Cait and Kayla to each other and the two realized quickly they had a lot in common. They learned they made an unstoppable team in Lord of the Rings trivia, both loved board games, and Harry Potter. Cait always finds time for Kayla, even between a new child, a hectic job, and her love for traveling. Over the years, they've gotten closer through Mexican food, trashy reality TV, and horrible 90s movies. Cait has been eagerly waiting for Duffy and Kayla's wedding for 3 years, and they couldn't imagine celebrating without her enthusiastic support.
Groomsman
Preston was another one of Duffy's childhood friends who has remained close to him through it all. Even when Preston and Duffy went to college in different states, they managed to stay close friends. Since the beginning of Kayla and Duffy's relationship, Preston has been an enthusiastic supporter and always checked in on how things were going. Several fireside chats and concerts later, both Kayla and Duffy have the privilege of calling Preston a dear friend. He was one of the first people to stop by after the couple got engaged with a bottle of champaign and a homemade card from his two kids and he was the first that got asked for wedding planning advice early on. To Preston, family is more than just who lives in his home. That kind of person is perfect for any day, but especially a day like this.
Bridesmaid
Tina was introduced to Duffy and got to see his superb "wingman" skills that same night. She had already been a part of Duffy's friend group for several years before he and Kayla started dating. She was one of the many individuals who enthusiastically welcomed Kayla into the group, and has always shown so much kindness, care, and support. Her warm personality immediately made Kayla feel as though she had been part of this group for years after having just met them ten minutes earlier. Tina has seen Duffy grow up significantly since she first met him and has always expressed her excitement that he had found someone like Kayla. She makes everyone around her feel so loved and is exactly the sort of person these two want near during any celebration.
Groomsman
Ben and Duffy first met playing soccer, but really became friends over the card game Magic. Not only could the two of them talk sports and play golf together, they also helped bring out each other's nerdy side that many others didn't get to see. Ben and his wife Cait have both been so welcoming to Kayla since she started dating Duffy. His easy going nature and friendly attitude helped him connect with Kayla as well on all her interests like board games, D&D, Lord of the Rings, and more. There was even some conversation of whether Ben should be a groomsman or a bridesman. Regardless of what side he's standing on, both Duffy and Kayla are thrilled to have him standing with them as they take this next step.
Bridesmaid
Jess was another person who happily welcomed Kayla into Duffy's life after having known him since grade school. Kayla and Jess often like to watch Duffy and Arod play hockey in a local sports league, and wonder how they can still run around like twenty-year-olds. Kayla has seen Jess as someone whose fierce love and care for people extends far beyond her own family. Jess has always offered her support, her help, and her advice to both Duffy and Kayla. She makes everyone feel welcome and at ease and has been a great friend to them both through the years.
Groomsman
Jimmy has known Duffy longer than any non-family member and they have stuck together through it all. When they were kindly told it was time to go off on their own after college, they shared their first apartment together. Jimmy has always been the ying to Duffy's yang never afraid to dance or create a good night. His love for Jimmy Buffet is only second to his love for his friends and family. He always takes time to introduce himself to everyone in a room, whether they want him to or not. Jimmy brings unmatched energy that is infectious to anyone lucky enough to be near. He was an obvious choice to help get the wedding going on the right foot and to get everyone hyped for the day of celebration ahead.

It doesn't take anyone more than a few minutes of talking to Lenora to be taken in by her bubbly personality. She extends a warm and welcoming hand to everyone she meets, and that included Kayla. They met through Kleyda and began playing online games together. Right away, Kayla and Lenora were telling jokes, sharing the woes of life, and committing "mutiny" together when Kleyda was away from the computer to derail the mission. Kayla can not only rely on Lenora for a laugh on a dark day, but also a shoulder to lean on and sound advice, be it personal or professional. There are many reason why Kayla considers herself lucky to have ever met Lenora, but even luckier to have her share one of life's bright moments with someone who will only make it shine brighter.
