Joey and Casey first met on Casey's very first night out at James Madison University at the end of August in 2015. Casey approached Joe at a frat party and asked him for a drink. He recognized her and asked "are you Casey Coburn"? Casey didn't recognize him at first because Joe had lost all his hair following a summer of chemotherapy. Although their paths never crossed until that day, their hometowns and rival high schools are located only 20 minutes apart. They immediately bonded over being from neighboring towns and knowing similar people, and quickly became the best of friends. Over the next few months their friendship grew into something more. So, here they are after almost 7 years of laughs and adventures finally tying the knot.
