To kick off our wedding weekend, we’re hosting a casual Welcome BBQ in Telluride Town Park — the big, beautiful green space right in the heart of downtown. There’s plenty of room to mingle, soak up the sunshine, wander the park, and start getting to know all the wonderful people who are coming together to celebrate with us. We’ll have a big cookout and a buffet‑style dinner, and we’d love for everyone to feel at home. If you’d like to bring a dish, a side, or something to drink, you’re more than welcome — the more the merrier. This evening is all about easy conversation, good food, and bringing our favorite people together before the festivities begin. If you know us, you know we LOVE a good BBQ and feel this is the perfect way to get everyone together to introduce you to a little taste of our Telluride lifestyle. It’s the perfect, laid‑back way to start the weekend surrounded by friends, family, and the mountains we love.

Invite Only Rehearsal Dinner

Mountain Chic, Think dressed‑up, but Telluride style — polished, comfortable, and inspired by the mountains. We’d love everyone in outfits that feel a little elevated while still fitting the relaxed, outdoorsy spirit of our town. Nothing too formal, nothing too casual — just that perfect in‑between where you look great, feel comfortable, and still blend right in with the alpine backdrop.

Our rehearsal dinner will be held at Floradora Saloon, the oldest family‑owned restaurant in Telluride and the place Kara has called home as a Manager, Bartender and Waitress for almost a decade. This cozy, historic spot on Main Street is where she’s grown up in the restaurant world, winning her hospitality award at this restaurant, become family with the people who work there, and found a second home in the heart of town. Sharing this space with our wedding party and close family feels incredibly special. This event is invite‑only for the wedding party and immediate family. If you haven’t received a separate invitation for the rehearsal dinner, we encourage you to enjoy a night out exploring Telluride’s amazing food scene. Some of our favorite spots for dinner: Kazahana — where Luis is a sushi chef; incredible sushi and a beautiful atmosphere The Grand — elevated, formal, and perfect for a special night out Smugglers — casual, cozy, and great for a relaxed evening

Ceremony

Elevated Mountain Formal, Black Tie with a Mountain Twist, No White Dresses

Women: Long elegant dresses in terracotta, earthy tones, or nature‑inspired prints with chic boots or sandals. Men: suits or dress pants with a crisp shirt and polished boots. Our ceremony will take place at San Sophia Overlook, one of the most breathtaking spots in all of Telluride. Perched high above town, this overlook sits at the top of the gondola and opens up to sweeping views of the entire valley — including the dramatic 14,000‑foot peaks that surround Telluride. It’s the kind of view that makes you stop talking mid‑sentence. To get there, simply hop on the gondola from either Telluride or Mountain Village and ride to the very top. When you step off, you’ll be just a short walk from the overlook, where the mountains stretch out in every direction and the air feels crisp and magical. It’s the perfect place for us to say “I do,” surrounded by the landscape that has shaped so much of our life together. We cant wait to share this moment- and this view - with you.
