Chris and Shannon first crossed paths on social media, brought together by a web of mutual high school friends. A conversation sparked almost instantly — both were in the car business at the time, with Chris in sales and Shannon working in finance for a corporate manufacturer. What started as shop talk quickly turned into something much more. And truthfully, we haven’t stopped talking since. Our chemistry was immediate, and it didn’t take long before we both knew we had to meet in person. Chris took a leap of faith and flew from Minneapolis to Dallas. Shannon was so nervous picking him up that she couldn’t even eat the lunch Chris treated her to — he had to drive us home! From that first weekend together, it was clear we had something special. Shannon fell in love with Chris’s quick wit and the way he always has something clever (or hilarious) to say. Chris loves Shannon’s heart, her sense of tradition, and how she brings warmth and care into every part of life — including keeping the house in order! We share so many of the same values — faith, family, and building a life grounded in love, laughter, and commitment. Chris proposed at his favorite rock concert, a show Shannon had surprised him with tickets for on his birthday. It was the perfect moment — loud, joyful, unforgettable — just like us. We’re so excited to build a home together here in Texas and continue raising Peyton with love and guidance as he grows into his own future. This next chapter means the world to us, and we’re so grateful to share it with you.
