Wedding Party

A lot of Love explains such a large group.

Jimmy Basford

Best Man

Being the groom's role model, it was only right that Jim was the best man even though there was fierce competition. I met Jim the day I was born, and we have been brothers ever since. We have shared many memories with a wide array of emotions, from laughter to anger to pain, and that one time we flipped a go-kart and crushed my arm. He is a great husband, a great father, and a great brother and I strive to learn as much from him as possible. He has always been a listening ear and someone to help provide advice and anxiety relief and will continue to do so up until the wedding and beyond.

Ryan Butz

Groomsman

Ryan and I became friends back in third grade when we played on the same little league team. We bonded on our talks as we ran our warm-up laps before each practice....we both gravitated towards the slow pace. We maintained our friendship as he moved to New York and back a few times, which solidifies the cheesy quote "even if you don't see each other every day true friendship stays strong". Ryan is one of the most dedicated and passionate individuals on the planet who has been working his butt off to accomplish his dream. He is on his way to obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy this August, and I like to believe that I was his first patient due to me partially tearing a muscle in my neck on New Years Eve. I am honored that we are apart of each others' journey through life.

Weiss Campbell

Groomsman

Weiss and I met in 9th grade at John I. Leonard High School, and later became friends in 10th grade when we realized we were the exact same person when it came down to a lot of things. Weiss and I continue to challenge each other to become a better person each and every day, and most of the time we do that by competing; in literally everything. If you have experienced me and Weiss together, then you have experienced us competing in probably something extremely stupid. We hold each other accountable, and have been there for each other through all of the hard times and the happy times, acting as a mentor to each other through each. We will always keep each other humble and I am grateful for that relationship.

Kyle Henry

Groomsman

I met Kyle around the age of 14. He was one of my brother's best friends and became another role model to me. He was always outgoing and I could be timid and shy at times. He is one of the biggest reasons I am so outgoing to this day. He helped give me confidence in myself, the push I needed to step outside my comfort zone, and become the Me I was meant to be. He was the creator of the famous Cheddar Goose nickname and helped build the persona that came with it. He has always pushed me to be better, smarter, stronger, and faster. He is also extremely competitive and would try to beat me in every living room game I would create. He taught me not to be afraid of anything and to be myself at all times, and that is one of the most influential lessons I have been taught in life.

Dylan Mason

Groomsman

Dylan and I met in high school and have always clicked. It's easy to click with one of the nicest individuals on the planet. It's also very entertaining when that individual is also one of the smartest individuals on the planet. Dylan has always been there even though his time in the military has separated us often. Dylan is known as the mastermind behind the waterbed incident in my house. His strong leadership and persuasiveness convinced my brother and I to try a unique way to take apart my waterbed, which ended with it popping and flooding the front room of our house. Dylan is one of the most ambitious people I have met and he constantly encourages me to get out and learn. He has been my mentor to mindfulness while also allowing me to live and travel vicariously though him.

Bernhard Wolmarans

Groomsman

I met Bernhard in my first year at UF and I am very grateful I did. I was headed towards a lonely first semester until Bernhard extended his hand and made me feel apart of the group. Over the next year we would spend a majority of our time in the Broward hall game room where ping pong and piano consumed our time. Bernhard was teaching himself how to play, and I'm glad our friendship grew stronger as the years passed and I am able to have an extremely talented pianist by my side. When Bernhard sets his mind on something he accomplishes it and that is my favorite characteristic of his. His family has welcomed Alycia and I as if we were their own and we are so grateful to have met them. I am excited to see where his life takes him after Med school and will always support him.

Taylor Hagan

Groomsman

If I am out making memories there is a 99% chance Hagan is there. From getting lost on Bourbon street to grabbing a casual drink (singular) at Cantina, Hagan and I have been writing our metaphorical book of fun for years now. I met him at a party one summer and we have been having a blast ever since. He has always inspired me to let loose and not worry about every little thing which is of immense importance if you know me. The stress free and responsible lifestyle is something everybody needs every once in awhile to balance out the challenges life throws at you, and I'm grateful Hagan has been able to show me that.

Danny Duprey

Groomsman

Growing up, I always viewed myself as Danny's second brother and worked to be a role model for him. Little did I know, he would grow up overnight and begin teaching me more than I've taught him. We spent a lot of time together in high school but really became close when we were roommates in college. I have always been able to go to Danny for a different perspective as well as an accountability check, because he will be the first to call me out on something wrong I did. Having a friend that keeps you honest is crucial to one's success and I am grateful Danny has been there for me.

Vince Ibarrola

Groomsman

Also involved in 99% of the fun is Vince. Vince has always been up for anything and supportive in every endeavor, even those that aren't the smartest. We met in the fraternity and have been experiencing fun adventures ever since. Vince and I have had the pleasure of spending time in the ER waiting room due to his subpar wrestling skills and have perfected his form since. It seems as if he was in a foot cast for a majority of our friendship but that didn't stop him from living life to the fullest. Vince is the definition of work hard and play hard with evidence of him waking up before sunrise almost every day to get a strong start. He is also the definition of brutally honest sarcasm. He has been able to make Alycia and myself laugh anytime we need it and I am grateful for that.

John Lynch

Groomsman

I once said I would take a bullet for Lynch because there was absolute zero doubt that he would do the same for me. This still holds true today. I met Lynch in 2012 when we pledged the fraternity together. Lynch is another individual who is extremely selfless. He is one of the most honest and genuine people I've met and has always been there for me regardless of the occasion. He, like every other member of the flock, knows the secret to the work hard play hard balance and I am grateful for the fun memories we have made as well as the ones we will make in the future.

Brooke Bovier

Maid of Honor

In 6th grade, the most beautiful girl walked onto the basketball court, being introduced to her new group of classmates. I said to myself “I want to be her friend”. 14 years later, this blonde bombshell is still my best friend in the entire world. Brooke has helped me gain a voice and confidence I never knew I could have. We share a love of ear piercings, Toothless the Dragon, and ColdStone ice cream. We also share endless differences that actually bring us closer together. Brooke is the strongest, kindest, and most fearless person I’ve ever known, and fights every day for what she wants and who she wants to be, and I couldn’t be more inspired or proud of who she’s become. She has the biggest heart and most genuine soul around, and I'm so grateful to have her as my best friend and MOH.

Jill Smith

Matron of Honor

My cousin, Jill, is a loving daughter and wife, a gentle nurse, a brilliant musician, the greatest dog-mom, and an incredible friend. As a little girl, my visits with my dad on the weekends were spent in Gainesville or Saint Augustine with Jill, so naturally she became more like a sister than a cousin. Throughout college, finally living in the same town, Jill was always there to grab Starbucks or a slice of Leonardo’s pizza. I’m grateful that now, living states away, she is just a call away and our relationship hasn't changed. Her and her husband Bobby also have a marriage that Robert and I admire. They're best friends, supreme Disney enthusiasts, genuine caretakers, and the perfect partners. They're going to be the best parents to their baby on the way, too! If only Gra could see us now:)

Erin Perkins

Bridesmaid

Erin is a beautiful blonde sweetheart who I am lucky to call my sister. Since we were kids, Erin always had a job babysitting. She has a tenderness towards children I’ve always admired, and hope to have with my future children. She is the craftiest and most thoughtful gift giver, always painting and designing the sweetest gifts for myself and others, and she has a sense of humor that brings me to tears. Most importantly, I'm proud of Erin. She's earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in education from Marist College, and currently works as a student aid, on her path to becoming a full-time teacher. I truly look up to my sister in so many ways, and I’m grateful to have her by my side, at my wedding, and in life.

Kristjana Manco

Bridesmaid

Sophomore year of college, I joined Phi Sigma Rho, an engineering sorority where I met angelic, Albanian sweetheart Kristjana. She became my Big sister, and ultimately my best friend. Kristjana has a striking beauty about her, not just outside, but inside as well. She provides the greatest advice, the sweetest gestures, and the funniest Snapchats only a true friend could give. Even long after we distanced ourselves from the sorority, our friendship only strengthened. Kristjana graduated from UF after multiple co-ops and internships as an Electrical Engineer, and now works for Duke Energy in Orlando. She’s acquired a confidence, strength, and work ethic unlike anyone else I know. I'm beyond grateful for our friendship, and can't wait to have her as a bridesmaid.

Hope Fischer

Bridesmaid

One night after a Gator game, Robert’s friend Bernhard introduced us to the girl he'd recently started talking to. That night, I met my best friend Hope. This former gymnast and absolute beauty has a positivity, smile, and heart that will instantly light up a room. She is the most intelligent and determined woman I have ever known, currently on the path to Med School. Much of our time together in college was spent studying at Panera or going to church, but she is also the reason for so many things I now love: Moscow Mules, escape rooms, speakeasies, to name a few; and even played on an intermural volleyball team with Robert and I, something I never imagined I’d do. I can’t imagine having gone through my last few years without her, and can’t imagine marrying Robert without her by my side.

Taylor Valentine

Bridesmaid

Taylor is the most empowered, strong, independent woman I’ve ever known. Having met at UF and graduated together in Environmental Engineering, Taylor went on to work for ExxonMobil as an Air & Title V Advisor for the SHE department. She is the source of inspiration and encouragement behind my move to Houston and to ExxonMobil. Taylor is also the most loyal and caring friend I have. From walking me home when I was too drunk (sorry, family!), to loaning me clothes for interviews, skiing, and even a wedding, and talking for hours on end about any and everything, I couldn't picture a better friendship. I admire her passion for the environment and shared love of country music, and she's recently become a master charcuterie board maker. There's nothing Taylor can't do and I truly admire her.

Ally Wolfe

Bridesmaid

Ally is the first friend I made in Houston, and has since become one of the most important people in my life. From Bachelor-wine nights to HIIT classes to barbecues to simply grabbing lunch together at work, Ally is a part of so much of my life. She has the sweetest soul, and provides so much more encouragement and support than any book, therapist, or wall quote ever could. Ally is also incredibly motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working, whether it be in her job, or even as a dog mom, bargain shopper, or interior decorator, all of which she excels at. Ally is so fun, thoughtful, and loving, and I couldn’t imagine how I would've handled living in Texas on my own, prior to Robert moving here, had I not met Ally; and I certainly can’t imagine getting married without her as my bridesmaid.

Sarah Friedman

Bridesmaid

Sarah is a beautiful sweetheart who recently became a middle school teacher. We met my senior year of high school as she trained me as a hostess at Stonewood and became fast friends. Sarah loves Disney, Harry Potter, and country music more than anyone in this world, which matches her upbeat, fun, and loving spirit. We’ve been to multiple concerts together, theme parks, and NASCAR races; she sat with me as I got my first tattoo; she took me to my first ever country line dancing bar, and she served as my extremely talented graduation photographer. She will do any and everything for someone she loves, and is always just a call or text away whenever we miss or need each other. Everyone in this world deserves a friend like Sarah, and I am lucky to get to call her a bridesmaid, too.

Korinn Loriz

Bridesmaid

Korinn is my stunning cousin from Pennsylvania who is the most dedicated, hard-working, and inspiring girl I know. She is a personal trainer, a teacher, and a caretaker for a disabled man, the perfect combination of strong and gentle. I have admired her my whole life for her sense of style and sense of humor, but now even more-so for all her incredible achievements and lifestyle changes. Every time we see each other over holidays, summer, or just random weekends, we share so many laughs, stories, advice, and memories I’ll never take for granted. I’ll always be tremendously grateful, too, for her desire and determination to keep our family traditions alive after Gra passed away. Korinn is one of my best friends, despite the miles between us, and I am thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid.

Jenny Basford

Bridesmaid

My soon-to-be sister-in-law, Jenny, has a heart of gold unlike any other. Ever since we met, at a country line-dancing bar just weeks after Robert and I started dating, I knew we would be fast friends. Initially bonding over our tragus piercings, I soon realized I could relate to Jenny on much more personal levels, or at the very least, confide in her anything. Jenny is a 1st grade teacher, and an incredibly loving daughter, wife, and mother of two beautiful angels. She and Jimmy have created a life and home together that Robert and I both look up to, and I idolize Jenny in so many ways; from her painting talent, to her incredible singing voice, to the way she cooks and prepares nearly everything her children eat. I’m so happy to soon call my beautiful friend Jenny family.
