In a small town in Maryland, Kris invited Rebecca to a locally owned restaurant called "Rik's" for the first of many dates. The restaurant was one of those places that look abnormally sketchy on the outside and quite nice once you got inside. Rebecca got lost and frantic in the parking lot looking for Kris - fearing for her life. Like a knight in shining armor, Kris opened the door to the restaurant, beckoned her over, and greeted Becki with a smile. They had a great time getting to know each other over some fantastic food. Kris ordered the daily special and Rebecca ordered a turkey club sandwich. (Really reflects their two personalities). After dinner, they headed back to Kris' house to watch a movie. As they walked into the house, Rebecca was shocked to see that Kris had her favorites wines, a box of Ferrero Rocher's, surrounded by lit candles and 2 wine glasses. She was head over heels immediately! The movie played as he predicted the entire plot twist and she started nodding off on his shoulder. They said their goodbyes and agreed to another date. Funny enough, after the door was closed and they were separated, they both proceeded to call all of their closest friends to talk about the date. Rebecca called to brag and Kris called to find reassurance from his friends that he didn't scare her off. Little did they both know, on their second date Rebecca would pose a question worth being scared about... but that's a story for another day. *AND NO ITS NOT THE PROPOSAL*
