Although our reception is not kid-friendly, the National Zoo is! Take the time with your family to admire the lions, gorillas, and pandas. As long as you get a pass, entry is free. Another exciting area only 20 minutes away from Springfield, VA.

The Springfield Mall is a great place not only for buying clothes and enjoying everyone's favorite pretzels, but it also has the best restaurants located on its strip. Maggie McFly's, Chuy's, Yard House, and 54 Restaurant are considered some of the best date-night restaurants in the Town Center. There is also a Dave and Buster's located in the Town Center that is great for both adults and children. Located in the heart of Springfield, VA, you could walk to the Town Center if you really wanted to.

The National Harbor is where we went on our first date and we would love to share the location with you all! Although we have never been on the Capital Wheel, we highly recommend visiting the harbor and enjoying the scenery as well as the food! Right over the bridge, this location is only 15 minutes away from Springfield, VA.
