If you have any other questions not already listed, please feel free to contact our Maid of Honor, Angela Appiah.
Question

Is my invitation transferrable?

Answer

In an effort to display modesty, we've prayerfully decided to limit the size of the ceremony and reception. We'd be honored to have each one of you in person if we could, but we know that's not possible with a modest budget. Keeping that in mind, if you personally are unable to attend, your invitation is not transferrable. We understand we live in "critical times hard to deal with," and ask you to please RSVP by the indicated time and let us know if you are able to attend (2 Timothy 3:1). Your personal invite, whether over Zoom or in person, is our way of saying thank you for all you've done in getting us here. You're our family. We look forward to spending our new forever with you and we love you.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, this is an adults-only occasion. We'd like to give all of our guests the opportunity to relax and let their hair down away from little eyes and little ears. For this reason, we highly suggest booking a babysitter and joining us for an adults-only reception.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is white tie/ black tie formal attire. Given that our wedding date is in the winter time, we highly suggest dressing appropriately for the season. Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The reception does have a coat check if you plan on wearing a coat that day. We have attached a link to better help understand the white tie dress code. https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained#toc-white-tie

Question

Should I bring a gift to your wedding?

Answer

Since you're taking the time to travel and attend our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself. If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address. We will have a gift table for any envelopes brought to the reception site. We are grateful in advance for your love and kindness.

Question

I can't make it to the wedding? Is there a Zoom Option?

Answer

Although we would have loved to celebrate with you in person, we understand circumstances may not permit you to be there. Yes, there will be a zoom option! Please return to this section of the website on December 20th for Zoom details or contact our Maid of Honor, Angela to have it sent to you via WhatsApp.
