Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, famously known as the City of Bridges, has been central to this couple's story. A lifelong resident, Jasper had recently embarked on his medical school journey at LECOM. Meanwhile, Taylor decided to explore Pittsburgh for the first time as a summer adventure. During her visit, the two connected on a dating website, however, not much came from this due to the two still living hours apart from each other.

Taylor received confirmation from her sonography school that her clinical rotations would be at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. With this news, she and Jasper began talking more regularly, quickly discovering a strong connection and many shared interests.

Taylor leaves her small hometown and moves to the city, where she finally meets Jasper in person. Together, they engage in endless conversations and relish each other's company as Jasper introduces Taylor to the city he's always known and loved.

The pandemic created a significant barrier between them, limiting their interactions. However, as the world gradually reopened, they started seeing each other again, and their relationship began to truly flourish in the fall later that year.

The two quickly realized they couldn’t get enough of each other and decided it was time to make their relationship official. While Taylor began her new job at St. Margaret Hospital, Jasper continued his medical school journey. In their free time, they enjoyed traveling together to destinations like the Bahamas, Nashville, Chicago, and San Diego, among others. Through life’s ups and downs, their bond grew stronger each year, forming an unbreakable connection.

After Jasper graduated from medical school, the couple embarked on a celebratory trip to the breathtaking island of Oahu, Hawaii. Just a few weeks after their return, they marked three wonderful years together. It was then that Jasper, unwilling to wait any longer, asked Taylor to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes, and the two couldn’t be more thrilled to embark on life’s journey side by side.

As the excitement of their engagement settled, Jasper and Taylor decided it was the perfect time to fulfill a long-held dream—rescuing a dog. In April 2024, they welcomed their beloved Luna, a sweet Golden-Pitbull mix, into their lives and quickly fell in love with her. Balancing their full-time careers, wedding planning, and caring for their furry companion, Jasper and Taylor eagerly anticipate saying "I do" this August.
