Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

The answer is...Yes! The ceremony will be held on a tented deck overlooking Big Glen Lake. The reception will be held indoors.

What do you mean by "weather appropriate"?

Answer

Autumnal weather in Northern Michigan can be hard to predict. For this reason, we highly recommend packing a warm jacket and a raincoat or umbrella, should there be inclement weather.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We recommend arriving early if you wish to enjoy the fall colors around beautiful Big Glen Lake!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. While some lodging is within walking distance of the reception, most are not. Due to the more remote area, please be aware that Ubers/Lyfts/taxis most likely won't be an option. Please be mindful of this when planning your transportation post-reception.
