Javon and Mimi had a late start in life and did not meet until Mimi was 17 years old, however since the day he met her she has been his little girl Javon was there to see Mimi graduate from High school which was a memorable moment for them both. He has accepted Joseph as his son in law and has begun to build a relationship. Mimi is the second to be married on her father’s side and defiantly not the last.

Nichelle Karim

Nichelle is the mother of seven children with Joseph being the third eldest child. She has a tight bond with all seven of her children and because she has such a great bond with her children, all seven of them are close and have an unbreakable bond. Nichelle has supported Joseph and Mimi throughout their entire relationship so much so that Mimi has grown to become more like a daughter to her and a sister to his siblings. Also there is no party like a Nichelle party with lots of fun. Over the past 10 years Nichelle and Mimi have built a bond and relationship that will only grow stronger after they say I DO on August 30th 2018.

Abrham Evans-El: Abraham is Joseph’s eldest brother and has always been someone Joseph has looked up to. As a child Joseph admired his brother and knew he wanted to be just like his brother when he grew up.

Trenton is Mimi’s younger brother and only boy on her mother’s side. Trenton and Mimi are extremely close and have been a majority of their lives. Mimi helped her mother out a lot when it came to Trenton as kids, so much so that Trenton looks to Mimi for advice and guidance on a daily. Joseph and Trenton are already brothers at heart and he can’t wait to see them become one on August 30th 2018.

Amber "Pebbles" Wade

Amber Lynn Wade- Mimi met Pebbles when she was 13 years old. Pebbles always considered Mimi to be her "mini- me" and began to treat her like a little sister the moment she met her. They grew up and created a real sisterly bond that is sure to not be broken. Pebbles has rooted for Mimi and Joseph’s relationship from day one and already considers Joseph her brother. In 2012 Pebbles moved to Maryland and it crushed Mimi’s heart but little did Mimi know her moving only strengthen their bond. Pebbles and Mimi speak and video chat almost every day so that Mimi can watch her nephew Zamir grow up from a far.

Ma'Layah- Is the daughter of Michel'La's younger brother. Ma'Layah is a pretty eyed 3 and a half year old who loves to sing, dance and be the center of attention. She may come off as shy in the beginning but after a few moments she will show you her talents and talking your head off being one of them. Ma'Layah is sure to be a show stopper and will have all eyes on her during the ceremony.

Anais-Is Joseph's first and only niece. Anais has a huge personality and is full of joy. Her cute round cheeks will make you fall in love. She has a voice on her and can get loud when she needs to. She loves to talk and play with her cousin's Noah and Karima. She may be little but she gives big hugs and kisses. Watch her walk down the aisle, she is sure to give you all a show!

Lamarr Anthony Bass

Lamarr is also the son of Michel'La's younger brother. Lamarr is a character and is guaranteed to keep you on your feet. He loves to play, dance, rap and play video games. He is also a little jokester and will have you on the floor at his jokes. Let’s not forget how handsome he is and such a show stopper.

Noah is the first and older nephew to Joseph. Noah is such a cute and funny kid. He loves to play with his cousin Anais and sister Karima. He has so much to talk about and can hold a conversation. He may be a little shy but will open up once he gets no know you or give him some candy and he is good to go!!!. Get your cameras out because he will be Mr. GQ himself.

Formerly known as The Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel, downtown Raleigh’s oldest surviving edifice constructed between 1923 and 1924, the Virginia Dare Ballroom is Raleigh’s hidden gem. The hotel was constructed on a corner of Fayetteville Street; Raleigh’s broad main street. At the time, The Sir Walter was the most massive building in the south portion of the downtown business district. By 1925, the Sir Walter was home to over 80 percent of the state legislatures, in addition to lobbyists, aides, jurors, newspapermen, businessmen and other influential individuals over the next three decades. The Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel is now a designated Raleigh Historic Landmark.

I DJ'd my first wedding in 2003 as a DJ apprentice during my college years. It brings me great pride to specialize in reading crowds and being able to play a wide range of diverse music. I have spent time at K97.5 and have worked with Choice FM 92.1 both in Raleigh. I have DJ'd all across North & South Carolina. I was awarded with the 2012 North Carolina Music Award for DJ of the year. Nothing makes me happier than seeing loved ones dance and celebrate life with one another.
