It was a beautiful spring afternoon in April 2008 when Michel'La "Mimi" and Joseph were introduced through a mutual friend. From April 2008 to May 2008 they found themselves hanging out on a daily basis. I guess you could say their feelings were mutual and they officially started dating on May 22, 2008! Can someone say inseparable? Michel'La and Joseph are complete polar opposites but there just may be some truth in the statement that "opposites attract". In October 2016, Michel'La & Joseph took their first trip out of the country on a cruise to the Bahamas. One evening after dinner as they walked around the ship Michel'La quickly realized this was no ordinary vacation! Joseph decided to use the beautiful breathtaking scenery of being at sea to propose to his bride to be! This was the beginning of their journey to #HappilyEvansAfter. October 27, 2016 will certainly be a day Michel'La will never forget, 8.5 yrs of dating and now she was stepping into preparation for a lifetime with her best friend. As if their love and relationship could not get any stronger, on September 15, 2017 they further solidified their bond by purchasing their first home together! This was such a surreal time for them, from picking out furniture to paint colors they are now more than ready to make memories together as they turn their house into a home! Michel'La & Joseph are completely excited and overjoyed just thinking about the fact that on Thursday, August 30, 2018 they well join together in a union to never be broken! The best part is they will be surrounded by friends and family they love most! Thank you to everyone who has shared in this journey so far, stay tuned the best is yet to come!
