This love story started when both Trinity and Carlos swiped right on each other's profiles. This wasn't the usual online dating story. Trinity was in Alexandria while Carlos was stationed in Las Vegas but training in Alabama. Usually, scenarios like this don't work out but somehow, something clicked and they kept messaging each other. Well, Carlos kept messaging and Trinity kept entertaining the idea. The two finally went on their first date when Carlos just got to D.C. two days before. Thankfully, the first date went well enough that there was another date after that. Then another. Then another. The two made it official on July 31, 2024. After that day, the two became inseparable. Either late night phone calls, going through Zillow listings, or going on date nights and exploring Alexandria or D.C. They always made time for each other. Celebrating through the good times, and mourning with each other through the bad. Learning how to overcome life's challenges together. As a team. Just as iron sharpens iron, Carlos and Trinity always brought out the best in each other and help each other to become better versions of themselves. They did so without losing what makes each of them unique but always remained in sync. On September 21, 2025, Carlos brought Trinity over to the place where they first said, "I love you." for the first time. He got down on one knee and asked her if she wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Thankfully for Carlos, Trinity ecstatically said yes. They are going to be tying the knot on October 3, 2026 in Old Town Alexandria. In the Historic Basilica of St. Mary.
