Question

How do I get to the events?

Answer

There will be a free shuttle providing regular roundtrips between our recommended hotels and the reception venue from 5-7pm, and from 10pm-12am. All other transportation must be self-provided.

What time should I arrive at the events?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 3:00pm, so please arrive no later than 2:45pm to find parking and seating. Stay for the receiving line outside the church afterwards! For the reception, there will be light refreshments available starting from 5:30pm, cocktail hour begins at 6:00pm, and dinner will begin at 7:00pm. Stay until the end of the reception to be a part of our sparkler send-off at 10:45pm! For other things to do in between the ceremony and reception, please check our Things to Do page!

Are we allowed to bring other guests, like a date or our children?

Answer

We wish we could accommodate everyone, but please limit guests to those specifically listed on your invitation. If you have a child under 5, please contact us directly to inquire about their attendance.

Will you have dietary accommodations for the reception dinner?

Answer

Yes! Dinner orders will be taken at the tables, so please notify your server of any necessary adjustments at that time.

If I am flying into NYC, how do I get to Long Island?

Answer

You may rent a car, take a taxi, RideShare, or take public transportation. Taxis charge a flat rate between NYC/Long Island, so RideShare is recommended if you are not renting a car. To return, follow these directions in reverse order. -From JFK- Via Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Wedding: When exiting the airport, purchase a MetroCard and put $7.75 on it to take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station, and an Off-Peak One-Way LIRR ticket ($6.00) to Stewart Manor station (5 min. walk to ceremony, 20 min. walk to reception) or New Hyde Park station (15 min. walk to ceremony, 10 min. walk to reception). Via LIRR to Hotels: 1. Inn at Great Neck: Same as above from Jamaica station, except take the Babylon, Long Beach, or Ronkonkoma line to Great Neck station ($9.75). At Woodside, transfer to the Port Washington line. Then walk 3 min. to the hotel. 2. Adria Hotel: Same as the Inn at Great Neck, except disembark at Bayside station ($7.75). Then walk 15 min. to the hotel. -From LaGuardia- Take the free LaGuardia Link Q70-SBS bus to Woodside Ave. and follow LIRR directions above.

If I am taking the train into NYC, how do I get to Long Island?

-From NY Penn Station- Purchase an Off-Peak One-Way LIRR ticket ($9.25) to Stewart Manor station (5 min. walk to ceremony, 20 min. walk to reception) or New Hyde Park station (15 min. walk to ceremony, 10 min. walk to reception) or Great Neck Station (3 min. walk from the Inn at Great Neck, our recommended hotel) or Bayside Station ($7.75, 15 min. walk from Adria Hotel). To return, follow these directions in reverse order.

Are you requiring vaccination and/or masks?

Answer

At this point in time, we do not require vaccination or masks. Please exercise your best judgment for large public gatherings. We will continue to update you should things change closer to the date.

Will you be live-streaming?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi available at the church, so we hope to be able to celebrate with you in person!
