Local Transportation

While we appreciate that some people will be renting cars, there is only street parking near the venue and we would prefer people either carpool with a designated sober driver or uber/lyft to the event. We want to ensure no one is driving drunk, and reduce stress for everyone involved! Everything in New Orleans is no more than 15 minutes away.

Hotels and Rentals

The venue (Capulet) will be located in the Bywater. It's a lovely space but does not have a lot of hotels in walking distance. You can stay on Frenchmen and in the nearby quarter but I would not recommend if you have kids, or just plan on sleeping without street noise. There are lots of nice short term rentals nearby if you would prefer! We live in the Garden District and there are plenty of lovely BnB's and hotels. The Pontchartrain Hotel is down the street from our house and lovely, we are also surrounded by lots of sweet BnBs, and hipper boutique hotels like the Chloe and St Vincent. As previously mentioned New Orleans is a small city, so you can't really go wrong location-wise as long as you are within city limits. The furthest from our venue will be anything further uptown. If you are lost in searching for places to stay don't hesitate to get in touch and we will provide some options to meet your needs.
