Matron of Honor
Younger sister of the bride. Better known as "Ched," a nickname lovingly given to her by the bride when they were younger that stuck to this day. The bride lives to annoy her at every available opportunity. She was late to learn to walk as a baby because the bride literally carried her everywhere (sorry, Ched!).
Best Man
Matt is the groom's childhood best friend, and they met playing hockey when they were young. When Matt got injured by a hit from an opponent during a hockey game that sent him to the locker room, Nate decided to use his last penalty to deliver some karma to the oposing player who hit Matt, which ensured an ejection from the game, but also a trip to the locker room to hang out with his pal. A true "if you go down, I'm going down too," friendship.
Maid of Honor
Bride's long-time childhood bestie. They've already made plans to live in the same nursing home when they're senior citizens, so you could say it's a long-term relationship. There's a different kind of bond between friends who grew up in the same neighborhood with parental supervision only around 40% of the time. She loves long walks on the beach and Mountain Dews in the moonlight. She’s truly something special. If you think she looks good now, just wait until you see her in her "Croc mops.”
Best Brother
Younger brother of the groom. Resident funny guy and DJ extraordinaire. We'll be watching his Comedy Central special one day soon. Or his podcast (because he sure loves to chit-chat). When the groom gets a little cocky, he's quick to deliver the humble sandwich with his quick wit and humor, reminding him who's the real boss.
Bridesmaid
Formerly known as Ms. Luedke. A childhood friend of the bride + longtime college roomie. Renee's fun-loving and outgoing personality made the shy and reserved bride come out of her shell early on and become the person she was always meant to be. If they can live together for six years and still be friends, it has to be a sign that nothing can stop them now (legit). They dream big dreams and have the best times. Go Tigers and Mavericks.
Groomsman
Baby brother of the bride. He might look tough on the outside, but somewhere deep down, he's in middle school going hard to Taylor Swift's "You Belong with Me," in the car with the bride on his way to football practice. He's not just sweet (he truly is the baby of the fam)--he's funny too!
Groomsman
Brother of the bride. Used to sneak out as a teen and steal the bride's vehicle in the middle of the night, but the bride has since forgiven him because he gave her two adorable nephews. If he's not in the woods, on the ice/water, or in a garage, he's sleeping, because he only hunts, fishes, and works on motors. Ask him to "do his Irish dance" at the reception for some entertainment.
Bridesmaid
Bride's sister-in-law. Lexi is someone who is admired by all who know her. She's a hard-working nurse and mom to two of the bride’s sweet nephews. She's also married to the bride's brother… so someone get her a drink ASAP!
Bridesmaid
Childhood friend of the bride. She's an accomplished hockey goalie/college athlete and a Commander in the United States Army. Pretty impressive, but not as impressive as the hundreds of 4H trophies and ribbons she earned and hung over her horse wallpaper in her childhood bedroom, which was once named the eight wonder of the world. She's the best time and the worst influence, and this all-American girl will trample children to catch the bouquet toss, so hide your kids.
Groomsman
Friend of the groom. There’s just something about your work friends that makes them feel like family. From renting trucks to flying to Florida to take photos of the groom’s proposal and engagement day. Tom is someone you can always count on and is always there for you. #PenskeBoysForLife
Usher
Bride's brother-in-law. The bride and Louie go way back to their elementary school days when they were in the same 5th grade class. They remained friends through high school, and then, Louie would go on to marry the bride's sister, Charity. Who would have thought?! Louie is passionate about coaching varsity wrestling at Princeton High School, softball, hunting, and being a dad. He helps his father-in-law with all his electronic and technical questions with the most patience... truly doing the Lord's work.
