Yes! Please dress in "elevated cocktail". Suits and ties, and midi dresses. Please avoid jeans, sneakers, and any over casual wear.
Yes! For the ceremony, St. John's has an available parking lot on 24th Street and California Plaza, and a handicap parking lot with a side entrance to the church. The Durham Museum offers free parking near its entrance at 10th and Leavenworth. If necessary, you may leave your car overnight on Saturday and pick it up on Sunday. Please note that the vehicles will be your responsibility the following morning.
The ceremony will start promptly at 10:30AM. We ask that you arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to locate the ceremony venue and parking lot.
Due to limited venue space, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.
As the ceremony is a religious celebration, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures. Our wonderful photographer will be taking the ceremony pictures. Our photographer will also be present during the reception for our special moments, but otherwise you may take (and share!) as many pictures as you would like.
