Any Venue rules I should be aware of?

Answer

The Preserve does not allow pets or people under the age of 18 to enter the HILLTOP LODGE & SPA SUITES. There is also no smoking allowed.

What is the check-in process like?

Answer

When you arrive on Friday, you will be greeted at the front gate and you will tell them you are here for the Hannie & Lisa Wedding and are going to the Hilltop Lodge for check-in. The front gate will provide you directions and once you get to Hilltop you will check-in at the main desk and will be given your room keys. For those not staying at Hilltop you will then be given directions on where to go.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes and it's free. You can park at your designated location on the property and the resort's car/cart service will pick you up and drop you off wherever you need to go on the property.

Can I arrive earlier on Friday?

Answer

Yes you can check-in at the Preserve as early as 4PM (though we expect arrival time closer to 6PM).

What if I need a ride around the resort outside of the scheduled pickup/drop off times?

Answer

Simply call the main desk at 855.593.8473 and let them know where you are/where you want to go.

What do I need to know before getting my Hair & Makeup done?

Answer

Your hair must be COMPLETELY clean and dry - avoid using product - and do not wear makeup to your scheduled makeup time.

Will there be lunch on Saturday?

Answer

No, you will have breakfast at 9AM and hors d'oeuvres/dinner in the evening. You are welcome to eat at the resort, go out for a quick bite, or you can bring food with you ahead of time and have it in your room.

Will there be any alcohol?

Answer

No - this will be a dry wedding however we are going to be serving mocktails.

Can I share photos on Social Media?

Answer

None of the Ceremony/Reception until we share some of our photographer's photos first.

When must I call the Reservation Department at the Preserve by?

Answer

You must call 401.539.4653 (extension 3 then 1) by April 30, 2026. Reservations require a non-refundable deposit. Reserve your room for both Friday & Saturday night (or just one night but be wary checkin time isn't until 4pm and checkout is at 12pm).
