How early can we get there?

Wedding guests are not permitted until 4:45 do not arrive any earlier

What about parking?
Answer
Street parking is not permitted, the parking lot can hold up to 25 cars. Carpooling is highly encouraged

What happens when we get there?
Answer
A coordinator will be on site to greet and guide everyone

Smoking
Answer
While highly discouraged, smoking is permitted only on the compass pad. Ask a coordinator for exact location

Is it BYOB?
Answer
No! Alcohol of all kind is not permitted, we will have 2 private bartenders serving mock-tails/cocktails, coffee, and juices. No beer or wine will be served

Where will be the restrooms
Answer
The restroom entrance is under the deck. Enter through the back doors, turn right, go into the office and they are to the left. Do not go through the front door or up the stairs since it’s a private residence

What will be served?

We are serving BBQ! We will have brisket, pulled pork, beef sausages, Mac & cheese, and potato salad. We’ll have lots of food so please grab plenty

Make sure to save room for our final course! Which will be cookies and ice cream :)

Ahh! What about rain??
Answer
We have a wonderful venue and if needed the ceremony will be moved accordingly, to avoid confusion coordinators will be on sight to help navigate everyone. Plus they say rain on a wedding day is good luck.

Can I take photos?
Answer
The ceremony will be complete phone free and personal camera free. We have one of Virginia’s top photographers that will be taking film photos during the ceremony and reception. If you wish to take photos after the ceremony you may but be mindful and respectful of our photographer.

Can I bring gifts?
Answer
We appreciate the thought! However we are moving to Spain shortly after the wedding and can take very little with us. If you want to purchase something our registry is set up so that we are able to buy items you purchased in our new home in Spain:)
