Michael Nealon aka "Nails"
Best Man
Mike has been Tyler's Best Friend and cousin (that order can be interchangeable) for the past 32 years. Although no one exactly knows what he does for work at his mysteriously lucrative Indeed sales job, you are just as likely to find Mike becoming the next controversial political pundit on Fox News, posting his hot stock picks on Reddit's wallstreetbets, or creating a Blog about how one can "work" while travelling the globe. Given his multiple talents, it's always a surprise he still finds time for a healthy active lifestyle which mainly includes walking along the Vancouver oceanfront with a coffee in hand. In other words, he's an "Amazzzingggggg" pick for the Best Man position!
Hudson Reddon aka "Toots"
Groomsman
Hud and Tyler have known each other since the first week of their undergraduate degree before living in a "Yellow Room" for the next 8 years with the rest of the groomsmen and Jake Geale (the guy at the wedding who works in a mine). He had the pedigree to be a Pro Rugby player after both his father and maternal grandmother competed in the Olympics, but Toots decided to devote his energy to crushing 24 inches of Subway sandwiches in one sitting, and spending far too much time researching the last 100 years of Toronto Maple Leafs statistics (our local ice hockey team). These days, Dr. Toots is apparently much more sophisticated and can be found lecturing at Trinity College in Dublin (after meeting a wee Irish Lass from Hannah and Tyler's Medical School Class...ahem Roisin)!
Jon Newby aka "Noobs"
Groomsman
Jon and Tyler have had each other's backs since their brief 'semi-pro' Aurora Tiger hockey stint when Noobs could be found 'between the pipes' and Ty was locking down the blueline. Gone are the days when Jon could not do but one push-up, and now you can regularly find him at the Squat rack working on his chiseled glutes. His quick-witted humour has allowed him to go toe-to-toe with Tyler, but more impressively Best Man Mike, but lately he's been able to use his creative talents to produce weekly F1 racing and American Football publications and has been heralded as "The Next Trent Crimm....The Independent".
Brett Scott aka "Cheebs"
Groomsman
The Brett and Tyler dysnasty started back in Grade 10 math class, but 17 years later some things never change: Cheebs continues to be the best Damn Enterprise Employee the company has seen in the past decade, he still owns the "West Coast, Best Coast" Mantra, and in another life would be a professional baker with his Grandma's secret Banana Bread recipe. Although he has worse joints than a 80 year old with bilateral knee replacements, you can still envision the athleticism that made the ladies swoon in high school when he was leading the Basketball team in Boards, or volleyball team in blocks, while still finding time to tap into his fun side as he dressed up as Peter Pan for local costume parties!
Scott Caterine Aka "Big Tasty"
Groomsman
Scott and Tyler met on day one in Medical School and shared interests over the fact that Tyler once was a varsity athlete in Track and Field whereas Scott apparently won some sort of Vanier Cup national championship as a Football player. They have come a long way from the days where Scott and his wife Maddy were hired as Tyler's personal Chefs and cooked him daily meals prior to Ty meeting Han, or from the nights of drinking a Guinness or four...or more...at pubs post exams. More recently, Big Tasty and Maddy have welcomed a "Lil" Tasty to this world (well her name is actually Lily, so it's fitting), and let's hope she hasn't inherited Scotty's athleticism, otherwise, she may be sitting on the bench for the foreseeable future.
Emmet O'Neill aka "Zone"
Groomsman
Although this future Brother-In-Law nicknamed Tyler - "Moose", based on his Canadian heritage, you are more likely to find this born and bred Irishman next to a Jug of Maple Syrup, a Beaver, or one of the Mounties, based on his lumberjack-esque COVID Beard. Emmet is a savvy veteran when it comes to being a Groomsmen (he's reportedly only 3 bridal parties away from getting a "Guinness" world record), so it's clear he will be the class of this group of misfits when it comes to supporting Tyler and Han through their day of celebrations. We are hopeful he will abide by the semi-formal attire as he has recently started a hipster clothing brand ZeddCor Merch (@zeddcormerch on Instagram), and it's unclear if he's going to go "off the cuff" and customise his own suit for the big day..stay tuned!
Katie Pettes
Bridesmaid
As Tyler's younger sister, Katie has impressively taken over the reign as the trendy lone Pettes living in Toronto (or 'Petti' (plural) if you ask the O'Neill clan) with her suave aviator-toting Pilot partner Shane and their puppy, Marley, as she mentally, physically, and emotionally prepares for the "lil sis" role that comes with being in the bridal party. Word on the street is she is so committed to this wedding that she was the only Pettes representative at Tyler and Hannah's Medical School Graduation Ceremony...or it may have had to do with the fact that Tyler's parents were having too much fun at the time in Edinburgh. The only problem is, she's a bit of a go-getter in the morning, so stay away from her after the wedding celebrations if you are looking for ibuprofen...just ask Han.
Lauren Daly
Matron of Honor
Lauren Daly was one of Hannah's very first friends and is a valued third of the trifecta of Laurens in the bridal party. They met in Primary school where they were sat beside each other, this lead to Hannah eagerly saving a seat for Lauren to sit beside her in class every year after! Lauren was Hannah's first 'Bad influence' telling her at the tender age of 7 that "It's ok to break the law sometimes" when they were planning to watch a PG13 movie! Thankfully she has only proved to be a good influence since then. Hannah and Lauren had a memorable 3 month trip around South East Asia in 2015 where they navigated a level 11 Typhoon and Ash cloud all while trying to get to Bali! She promises to bring both some of her bad and good influence traits to the big day!
Lauren Whitelaw
Bridesmaid
Lauren "Litelaw" as a young Hannah used to call her is another third of the Bridesmaid Lauren trifecta. She was and occasionally is still known as the 'red terror' given her gorgeous hair and boundless energy as a kid! She is Hannah's cousin and was the first to expose her to the fun of fake IDs and sneaking into the Dublin bars! They have a habit of one upping each other particularly on their birthdays. For Lauren's 30th Hannah asked her to be her bridesmaid and for Hannah's 30th she got Engaged!! Watch out for her encouraging shots for all!
Lauren Shaw

Last but not by no means least of the Lauren trifecta is Lauren 'baby' as Hannah fondly differentiated her as. Hannah has known Lauren since the day she was born. She dressed poor Lauren up in a variety of costumes since day 1 and in turn they dressed Lauren's younger brothers up as the sisters they never had! Both Lauren and Hannah were tormented by their older brothers who also kindly gave them both an infamous haircut behind the moms backs at the age of 4, as Gránnie says "you never had curls again"! As the first of the bridesmaids to be married she is barred from catching the bouquet!
Meggan Harrison
Bridesmaid
Meggan and Hannah have been friends since primary school. If you're wondering why Hannah is in a bridesmaid dress and walking up the aisle with someone who isn't Tyler don't panic- its Meggan. Since their early days in primary school they have frequently been mistaken for each other including poor Meggan accidentally being assigned chores by Hannah's mom who hadn't taken a good look. You better be on your best behaviour as Meggan is a Garda (Irish Police). She even memorably was called to shut down a party Hannah and Tyler were at with their med school friends! Rest assured though she won't be shutting down this party!!
Aisling Gissane
Bridesmaid
Aisling is one of Hannah's great friends from her Trinity college years. They met while inspecting fossils in geology and drinking cans by the Pav. Aisling has always been the life and soul of the party with a constant positivity. Their trips together include skiing home from the Folie douce in Val Thorens to snorkelling along the beaches of Bali. Aisling will undoubtedly be found on the dance floor and tearing up when anything remotely happy happens!
