We're so excited to share some of our favorite places in the area with you!

Located in Wiscasset, ME on the way to Boothbay Harbor. They claim to be the world's best lobster shack. Based on the lines that we've seen and what we've heard from friends, it might just be true!

Red's Eats (on the way)

Located right on the way to either inn just as you cross the bridge into Southport. Enjoy some fresh seafood and a couple of drinks on the deck surrounded by the water. Maybe even see some freshly caught lobsters coming in off the boats!

Robinson's Wharf

This is the first place we ate at after visiting the Newagen for the first time. Delicious brick oven pizza and a great place to stop for a quick bite.

PORTS Pizzeria, Boothbay

One of the best ice cream places around. Plenty of flavors to choose from - you really can't go wrong. There are plenty of tables outside to sit and enjoy some delicious dessert.

Downeast Ice Cream Factory

Another highly recommended seafood restaurant and bar in downtown Boothbay. A very casual restaurant with another great view of the harbor to enjoy a drink on the deck.

Mine Oyster

A popular bar and restaurant located right in downtown Boothbay. Known for it's great atmosphere and live music in the summers. We haven't had the chance to eat or drink there, but it looked like a great time when we walked in to see it.

McSeagull’s Restaurant

Great casual dining option. A fun restaurant with a rooftop deck overlooking all of Boothbay Harbor offering awesome views all around.

Boathouse Bistro | Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Visit the adorable alpacas right next to our inn!

Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm and Gift Shop

There are over 300 acres of land including many different types of gardens, natural spaces, hiking trails through the woods and 5 giant trolls hidden throughout to find. A great place to walk and explore nature.
