A woman in Boston only needs to swipe left about 8 billion times until she finds a man worth dating...and that's exactly what Hannah did. It was the summer of 2018 -- Brian was living in Somerville with his college bestie, working at CBRE, and just being adorable as always (can you tell who wrote this???). Hannah was in the process of moving out of Southie, while she looked for teaching jobs outside of Melrose where she had taught history for 5 years. Brian and Hannah connected on Hinge, which is one of the many "young people" dating apps. Although an interesting way to meet someone, Brian and Hannah somehow trusted each other enough to meet in person. They decided to meet at a coffee shop in Somerville. It was very last minute but managed to work because Diesel Cafe was Hannah's favorite coffee shop (in the entire Boston area). Brian was equally as excited because he could walk from his apartment to the coffee shop (and then had plans to see friends in the same area - smart dude!) They ended up meeting at Diesel Cafe and talked for hours. Both Hannah and Brian describe each other as relaxed and "so easy to talk to." Their conversation flowed easily, and they both were excited about their connection and wanted to see each other again! After talking and talking and flirting and flirting, they made a plan to meet again.... the rest is history!
