Do I need to wear a mask in public in Louisiana?

Answer

Yes, a mask is required in public places throughout the state of Louisiana, effective July 13, 2020. The governor will be moving us to Phase 3 on September 11, 2020, but the mask mandate is still in effect. *Updated September 10, 2020

Is the wedding and reception venue taking the proper preventative precautions?

Answer

Yes, The Crossing has a professional cleaning company come through before and after each event. They also require face masks to be worn when walking around inside, but you may remove your mask at your seat to eat. Food is also only being served by the staff. There is no self serve at this time. *Updated September 10, 2020

How many people are able to be in a public place in Louisiana?

Beginning September 11, 2020, percentage occupancy increases in all venues and therefore will accommodate more people in a safe manner. Our venue numbers are still at phase 2 capacity just for safety purposes! *Updated September 10, 2020

If I choose not to attend, will there be a live stream of the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Shafer will be setting up a live stream through Facebook. We will add you to that private Facebook group closer to the date! The live stream will be happening regardless of any further decisions we make.

Will masks be available at the wedding and reception if I don’t have one?

Answer

Yes! We have 100 masks ordered for you to have your own should you forget to bring one!
