Pawleys Island is beautiful, and we are excited for our friends and family to experience it. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, as well as lovely beaches, a local art scene, and historical sites. Below are a few options, but we also encourage everyone to explore Georgetown and the area around Pawleys.

Fun fact, the bride's uncle is the museum director here! It has a lovely collection of art and details the history, through the rice industry, of the Lowcounty of South Carolina.

Brookgreen Gardens

This is the venue for the wedding. It is a huge botanical and sculpture garden, that we both love. Our guests will have an opportunity to explore the gardens during our cocktail hour, including free admission to Brookgreen's Night of a Thousand Candles light display. But for anyone who'd like to see the gardens in the daytime or explore more widely, we highly recommend it.
