Question
Are the wedding and reception going to be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be on the patio of the Holliday Cottage. Guests' chairs for the ceremony will be placed in the grass and cocktail hour will be on the lawn of the Cottage, so we recommend comfy shoes. There will be signs directing everyone for parking, as well as for the ceremony location. If it gets too chilly, we will have an enclosed tent and heaters for the reception, but we recommend having a light jacket or wrap available.

What's the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is formal. Suits (or tuxedos) for men and long dresses, skirts, or pants for women. The patio has a cobblestone floor, so we recommend sticking with flats or other comfortable shoes. If it gets too chilly, we will have an enclosed tent and heaters, but we recommend having a light jacket or wrap available.

How do we get to the wedding?
Answer
We will have a shuttle to take people from the hotel(s) to the ceremony and to take everyone back to the hotels at the end of the night. We'll send out more details on that closer to the wedding. For anyone who prefers to drive themselves, Brookgreen Gardens has an abundance of parking. Ubers and Lyfts are not abundant in Pawleys, so we don't recommend relying on them as transport.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Pawleys Island has mild winters, with plenty of sunshine! Temperatures can get cool, but generally do not get below the 40s. If we have inclement weather or it gets too chilly, there will be an enclosed tent.

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
We want to be sure everyone is able to enjoy dinner with us. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions in the RSVP section of the website.
