Question

Are children welcome at the wedding/reception?

Answer

We love all of your children! Unfortunately, we are unable to have all of them at the wedding. There will be a "Mini Bridal Party" comprised mostly of children of the bridesmaids. Beyond that, there will be a small number of kiddos in attendance. The save-the-date and wedding invitations will be addressed to the individuals who are invited to the wedding. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Sophisticated, classic, and elegant; think Black Tie. To be more specific we would appreciate dark colored tuxedo or suit with a tie and long dresses (floor length or ankle). Of note, the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) but the rest of the day/night there will be ample indoor air-conditioned space available.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

The envelope for the save-the-date and invitation will be specifically addressed to those invited to the wedding or it will be addressed to "xxxxx and guest."

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of complimentary parking at the venue.

Will the ceremony and venue be in the same location?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and venue will both be at Emerson Park Pavilion in Auburn, NY.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a complimentary shuttle to and from the Hilton Garden Inn/Holiday Inn and the wedding venue before the wedding ceremony and after the reception.

What is a stations style wedding reception?

Answer

We’re so excited to share a unique twist on the traditional wedding reception with a stations-style experience! Instead of a formal sit-down dinner, we’ve created an atmosphere where everyone can mingle, dance, eat, and drink at their own pace all night long. At the heart of the celebration will be a variety of food stations and drinks, each offering something delicious and exciting. From savory bites to sweet treats, guests will be able to explore and sample a wide range of culinary delights—there’s something for everyone to enjoy. With music and dancing setting the vibe, the stations and passed hors d'oeuvres create a lively, social atmosphere that encourages guests to move around, chat with friends new and old, and enjoy the experience at their leisure.

Seating options during reception

Answer

There will be dining tables and chairs available, as well as multiple lounge seating areas and cocktail tables. The goal is for everyone to be able to sit intermittently through the night as needed but not be stuck in their seat throughout the reception.

Answer

There are vegetarian and gluten free options within the selected menu. Please let us know if you have any other dietary restriction or allergies that you would like us to be aware of and we will talk with our caterer about accommodations!
