This is a favorite spot for the couple to visit when they go wine tasting in town. The cheese and wine pairings are outstanding, and they have lavender products, ranging from soaps to lotions.
Another great option for wine tasting with lots of shaded, outdoor seating.
This oil and vinegar tasting bar has some of the most unique assortment of olive oils and vinegars. Whenever the couple is in town, they stop by and grab something new to cook with. A note to those traveling by plane - the bottles would need to be stored in a checked bag due to the bottle sizes.
The couple had a date here once and loved the food. Options for most dietary needs can be met here.
On a weekend that is likely to be hot, this ice cream shop will be a great place to cool down!
Colorful and vibrant local art can be found here, a spot where the couple visited on a favorite date that ended with a beautiful clay mask that now hangs on their wall.
Are you as obsessed with spices and good food as the Brides to Be?! They love this little shop with a huge variety of spice mixes from all over the world.
This woman owned and operated independent bookstore is a cute stop while you're strolling around town.
This is the brick and mortar furniture store for Anderson's Tree Farm, which houses skillfully carved wooden pieces of furniture and art. Anderson's Tree Farm on Main is located in the downtown area of Murphys, not to be confused with the Ceremony and Reception location, which is off of Mustang Rd. in Murphys, CA.
This is a great place to relax and unwind as a treat for your travels.
Check out the North Grove Loop, a 1.6-mile hike with relaively little elevation change. If you'd like to see a treat, turn right when you come to a sign that reads "Grove Overlook Trail" after tree number 13. Follow this trail for just a few minutes and you'll come upon a pair of Giant Sequoias. It was at these trees where Noelle proposed to Hannah, and Hannah proposed back, on March 9, 2025.
This is such a fun visit! The Spiral Tour takes visitors down a 100 foot spiral staircase, plus some ~75 steps getting down to the spiral staircase. If you're intent on getting down on the dance floor at the wedding, be warned that this cave hike is a thigh workout!
This is one of Hannah's favorite hikes. With a steady decline down to the cave, this 2 mile out and back hike is a bit challenging heading back up, but would be considered by most to be an easy to moderate hike. Hike down to the cave and swim, float, or boat through this small cave with a river that runs through it. Watch out for poison oak! While Hannah loves the trail, she is also very allergic to poison oak and hopes you'll keep an eye out for yourself and everyone else! (It's very contagious!)
To pass over the Sierras, you can either take the norther route and pass through South Lake Tahoe or take the southern route through Yosemite. Check those adventure pages for more inspiration. The Eastern Sierras adventures, from north to south, start in Bridgeport, CA. Here you'll find Bodie State Park (a western ghost town) and the Travertine Hot Springs. Next, make your way through Lee Vining, where you can get an ice cream treat at the Mono Cone. If you're in the mood for a full meal, stop at local favorite, the Woah Nellie Deli (Noelle and Hannah love getting the fish tacos). For rock lovers, stop at South Tufa Interpretive Trail to see unique rock formations at Mono Lake. If you love scenic driving, head south on the 395 and take the June Lake Scenic Loop. Nearing Mammoth Lakes, head into town and see all it has to offer (it's so cute!) or continue south and stop at either the Hot Creek Geologic Site or one of many nearby hot springs (Hilltop and Wild Willies are favorites)!
Visit the place the couple got to explore as they fell in love. There are hikes in Yosemite Valley, off of Glacier Point Road, at the Hetch Hetchy area, and off of Tioga Pass, also known as Yosemite's High Country. Most of the hikes below have been done by both Brides, with a few extra hikes. Yosemite Valley Hikes Bridalveil Falls (Easy), Mirror Lake (Easy - Moderate), Lower Yosemite Falls (Easy), Mist Trail (Moderate - Hard), Upper Yosemite Falls (Hard) Glacier Point Road Hikes Sentinel Dome (Easy - Moderate), Taft Point (Easy - Moderate), Glacier Point Lookout (Easy) Hetch Hetchy Hikes Wapama Falls (Moderate), Rancheria Falls (Hard) High Country Hikes Olmsted Point (Easy), Pothole Dome (Easy), Tuolumne Meadows to Parsons Lodge (Easy), Lembert Dome (Moderate), May Lake & Mt. Take Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway (California State Route 4) ~or~ take Highway 88 ~or~ take Highway 50 from Murphys to South Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Virginia City, or even Reno. All three routes have varying degrees of difficulty and guests should double check routes to ensure that their vehicles are able to handle the roads. If you have extra time during your visit, Virginia City is a great, historical western town. Carson City and Reno are both near Virginia City, and have plenty of cool places to visit. South Lake Tahoe has tons of places to visit. If you go, make sure to check out Noelle's favorite breakfast spot, The Red Hut Cafe (the one at 2754 Lake Tahoe Blvd is Noelle's favorite!).
Groveland is the home of the Brides and is a beautiful part of their love story. If guests are traveling through the area, here are some of the pair's favorite stops. Priest Station Cafe, the Iron Door Saloon, and Gateway Tapas & Spirits are some of the couple's favorite places to eat. With their home being just a few blocks away from Groveland's downtown, the pair enjoy visiting these restaurants often. Visitors can also check out the Groveland Mercantile which has amazing homemade ice cream. Next, visitors can make their way to the lodges that both Noelle and Hannah work at - the spa at Rush Creek Lodge is a must visit, along with the restaurant at Evergreen Lodge. If you're interested in horseback riding, Firefall Ranch offers rides! While it may be a little unusual to encourage guests to visit the couple's places of work, it's worth noting that their places of work are very cool! Delight in the vacation amenities that the Brides have enjoyed many times!
