Things To Do

Cincinnati Chili

Cincinnati, OH 45202

HANNAH LOVES CINCINNATI CHILI, Nick is still learning to love it. Skyline and Goldstar make up the two big chains for Cincinnati Chili. What is Cincinnati chili? Our chili is more of a meat sauce that we put on top of hot dogs (coneys) or spaghetti (a 3, 4, or 5 way) with mounds of cheese. Hannah's Favorite: 4-way with onions Nick's Favorite: Chilito (a chili burrito) Settle the debate once and for all, try both GOLDSTAR (Hannah's Dad's favorite) and SKYLINE (Hannah's Mom's side's favorite) and tell us your favorite!

The zoo is most renowned for its endangered species and birthing programs, particularly for gorillas and white tigers, and has a wonderful collection of felines and a delightful manatees exhibit. Come meet Fiona, miracle hippo baby who survived after being born 6 weeks before she was due and was too small to stand and nurse from her mom, Bibi. Hannah's Favorite Wild Animal: Cheetah and Lions Nick's Favorite Wild Animal: Elephant and Gorilla

Jungle Jim's International Market

5440 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, OH 45014

Located in nearby Fairfield, Jungle Jim’s is a grocery store like no other. With over 500,000 square feet of food from around the world, it’s a must-visit for foodies and a fun, silly experience. Don't miss Lion Elvis or the Rockin' Cereal Band.

Findlay Market

Findlay Market is Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market and one of Cincinnati's most cherished institutions, welcoming more than one million visitors each year. Located just blocks from downtown in Over-the-Rhine, a dense historic neighborhood rich in 19th century architecture, Findlay Market remains the bustling center of farm fresh, locally sourced, artisanal and specialty foods. Open Tuesday through Sunday year round, Findlay Market is home to more than 50 full-time merchants selling meat, fish, poultry, produce, flowers, cheese, deli, ethnic foods and more. On weekends, the Market also hosts a thriving Farmers Market, a vibrant Outdoor Market, numerous street performers and several special events. A stop on the Cincinnati tour when Nick first visited!
