Maid of Honor
Star Sign: Scorpio Pronouns: She/Her Hannah: I can't imagine having my wedding day and not having Breanna by my side. Breanna is my older sister and we are complete opposites, yet we still manage to have so much fun together. Breanna and I got particularly close when she moved to Winona while I was still at Saint Mary's, and I spent a lot of my free time at her apartment. A few of my favorite memories with her include road tripping to Texas and getting caught in in the TX "Snowmageddon" of 2021 and literally driving off the interstate onto a frontage road to avoid other drivers, exploring the twin cities while successfully avoiding all major highways and interstates when I thought I was moving there (the first time), her November birthday trips to Chicago where we spy on Chicago Fire filming, and all of the damn garage sales she manages to rope me into helping her with... She truly is a scorpio through and through, but she's MY scorpio sister and I wouldn't change her for the world! Maya: It has been so wonderful getting to know Breanna through Hannah, and I am so happy to have her as a part of our bridal party! One thing I love about Breanna (and definitely relate to heavily) is her low tolerance for bullshit. She's a real one for sure. I'll never forget bonding with her on our trip to Chicago for her birthday where we almost froze to death in the Lincoln Park Zoo while taking in the holiday lights or when we went honky-tonking in Nashville!
Bridesmaid
Star Sign: Scorpio Pronouns: She/Her Hannah: What an honor to have purelyforthemaddness in my bridal party!!! Okay, okay, that's an inside joke that only Bridget will get, but really, knowing this gal is a joy and total happenstance. Bridget and I met online during the OG days on tumblr when we were in 10th grade, but Bridget was in Jupiter, Florida. 1,771 miles away to be exact. We couldnt tell her mom that we met online and become close friends so we lied and said we were assigned to each other as pen pals during our confirmation classes in the catholic church. HAHA - Mama Fergie bought it and soon I was video chatting the fam basically every day and became close with the whole gang. We stayed friends, though not as close, through college, and after in June of 2021, I drove to Atlanta to attend her wedding and meet her and her family for the very first time. It's quite a story, and such a strange and lovely connection. She is one of my closest friends, who lives the furthest away, and has the kindest husband, and the most adorable son. If anyone is going to get Maya and I to move out of state, it will be Bridget. ;) Maya: I had the opportunity to meet the notorious Bridget this Spring when her path briefly crossed ours in Nashville. I had heard so much about her from Hannah, and from what I could tell just from the brief time we got together--she definitely lives up to the hype! I'm so psyched to have her as a part of the posse!
Bridesmaid
Star Sign: Pisces Pronouns: She/Her Hannah: Cat and I were randomly assigned as roommates our freshman year in college at Saint Mary's University in Winona, MN. I actually met her dad before I met her... "Michael Burgraff, Fergus Falls" he said with a hand extended. I knew I was in for a TREAT. And I was right...but I like to think that Cat was exactly what I needed, and I like to think that I was exactly what she needed, too...right, Cat?!? We both were undeclared when we started school, and had no set extra curricular activities, but somehow, without even trying, we ended up spending most of our time together. We both majored in Public Relations and Journalism, were heavily involved in Student Activities Committee, Student Senate, and Campus Ministry, and both had jobs in the student activity office. I LOVED college and a huge part of that is Cat so I couldn't imagine my day without her by my side. I don't get to see her often because her wonderful husband took her away from me to Orange City, Iowa, but I guess I will let her thrive there in that small farming community. She's a star and she shines bright there. :) Maya: Hannah's friend group from college is such a strong, wonderful presence in her life so I am absolutely thrilled to have Cat a part of the wedding party! I remember visiting her home in Orange City with Hannah and Kiya and was made to feel so welcome. I really admired the thought Cat put into hosting everyone. It'll be great to make even more memories!
Maid of Honor
Star Sign: Taurus Pronouns: She/Her Maya: Sweeney and I go way back. We first met as dorm neighbors in Dowling at the University of St. Thomas. We wound-up on the same floor as a part of the Sustainability Living Learning Community that we were in. She was probably the first person I talked to since we both ended-up moving in really early. We continued to bond through various fieldwork activities for class like paddling a canoe together or when we were partners for a geology trip in Teddy Rosevelt National Park, scaling cactus-laden cliffs in the North Dakota badlands. We had plenty of fun outside of our studies though, too. Emily was often a confidante and one of the first people I would go to to chat about all the antics we got up to that year. Emily is always someone who will have a wild, unbelievable story to tell. She even provided me safe harbor in her room the one time I had to outmaneuver campus police (don't ask). It wasn't until after college, post-2020 when Emily and I reconnected to form a deeper friendship. I am so honored to know her and so thankful that we were able to reconnect how we did. She's truly a singularity and I can't wait to have her by my side on Hannah and I's wedding day. Hannah: I heard a lot about Emily before I actually met her - and when we finally did meet, it was over hot dogs at The Wienery and then a paranormal exhibit at the MIA - needless to say, we connected immediately. We're both practical and also dramatic AF, and I love her.
Bridesmate
Star Sign: Capricorn Pronouns: They/Them Maya: Shelbie was the best thing to come out of my last relationship prior to meeting Hannah. Shelbie would tell you that they made the worst first impression on me ever after getting sick in my house an hour after arriving. I would say it's the best impression they could have ever made. This is because the next morning they came back to my house, apologizing profusely, insisting they buy me some sticky rice to make-up for the night before. Barely knowing each other, I hopped in their car and we hung out and gabbed for the first of many times. Since then, Shelbie and I have been camping in the South Dakota badlands, swimming in what feels like hundreds of lakes across Minnesota, and even living together for two years. They always bring such a fun, grounded, and curious energy. I truly admire their ability to be able to talk to anyone and have a good conversation that goes beyond surface level. I could honestly go on for ages talking about all the things I adore about Shelbie. I couldn't be more grateful to have such a thoughtful, adventurous pal joining me on such a huge day! Hannah: Shelbie is such a kind and thoughtful person. I am so grateful that Maya brought them into my life. They bring adventure to any outing all while bring the most cautious person I know. I practically lived with Shelbie for the first year Maya and I were dating and they welcomed me in and made space for me. I couldn't imagine our day with out them!
Bridesmaid
Star Sign: Sagittarius Pronouns: She/Her Maya: I am so grateful to my brother, Hart for bringing Sami into our lives! It has been such a great experience spending more time with and getting to know her the past few years. In particular, I've loved the time spent on our annual Shelton-Davies family trip to Door County, WI. We make the yearly pilgrimage to spend quality time together around my mom, Melissa's, birthday. We've made it a tradition to go out that last two years to sip on some good tequila and talk shop. We had such a good time this year all together, cruising around the peninsula on a pontoon and soaking-up the summer sun while anchored beneath a cliff. It means a lot to me to have Sami be a part of our wedding and I'm so excited my brother has such a wonderful partner! Hannah: I've loved getting to know Sami over the last two years. She is quiet, but once you get to know her, she opens up and you're in! As the Outlaws of the Shelton-Davies crew, Sami and I have to stick together, and luckily, it turns out we have a lot similar interests and personality traits. We get along well and have so much fun together - I have especially enjoyed our sibling nights over tequila in Door County, WI on our annual Shelton-Davies family vacation for Melissa's birthday. If you need a tequila recommendation, find Sami, she's got you. Couldn't be more thrilled to have her as a part of our day!
Officiant
Star Sign: Aries Pronouns: He/Him Maya: Andrew, Andrew, Andrew. I had heard about Andrew before I even met him. People would come up to me on campus, saying "there was this person who went on stage and danced at dueling pianos and they seemed so cool! I feel like you would get along." Less than a month later, I found myself seated next to him at the UST GSA club meeting where they ended-up appointing Andrew and I as heads of the club or something. Suffice to say, we never attended another meeting once we had each other's contact info. That evening, I got a snap from him saying he thought we should be friends and asked me to come to his dorm in an hour to hang out. I was floored by how straightforward he was and didn't hesitate for a second to agree to our inaugural kickback. Since then, Andrew and I have been there for a lot of each other's highs and lows. From surviving that first year as friends, to living together (going on 3 years now), and to our shared love of late night drives with a killer soundtrack. I love Andrew to death and couldn't imagine anyone else officiating for Hannah and I. Hannah: Oh Andrew... I think those two words are words I say every day... the man gets into some shenanigans, but my life would be pretty damn boring with out him in it. There aren't enough characters left for me to say what I want about him, except that he has been such a welcoming and caring friend to me since I met Maya and I am extremely grateful to him for officiating our day.
Ring Bearer
Star Sign: Leo Pronouns: He/Him Hannah: The Man, The Myth, The Legend... The one that truly matters... I love doing the hokey pokey with this lil' dude. He loves bubbles, dancing, fruit, and he'll do anything for an applause. Let's face it, he's simply the best. He's my only Nephew and that means he is spoiled. I am so happy to have him as our ring bearer! But don't worry, the 2 year old is NOT going to be carrying the ACTUAL rings...... Maya: I am so so stoked to have this guy be our ring bearer! He's the best baby I've met and Hannah already said it, but I looove doing the hokey pokey with this lil' man. Saying I'm excited to see him cut a rug at our reception is an understatement.
Personal Attendant/Chaos Coordinator
Star Sign: Libra Pronouns: She/Her Hannah: When I met Kriston, I knew she would fit right into my family. Josh was raised by an entire family of women and we always said that some woman was going to be lucky someday and that gal is Kriston! She's the most competitive person I know, which drives me nuts, but she loves games, which makes up for how much Josh hates games. I have a lot of great memories with Kriston, like sibling Black Friday shopping, our road trip to Nashville when she coached me through a car wreck from the backseat, and the time I stayed up until the ass-crack of dawn working on wedding stuff for her because she decided to get married while in school for her DNP. Kriston is incredibly detail oriented and organized, so I couldn't think of a better job for her. Plus, I'm gonna get her back for all that work I did for her wedding... KIDDING! I'm really excited to have her a part of our day! Maya: I remember when Hannah and I were first talking about our families, sharing about the people we would eventually introduce each other to. Kriston was someone she immediately mentioned as someone she was excited for me to meet, and since meeting her I can see why! Kriston's ability to decimate everyone else in a board game or game in general is unmatched! I'm pretty competitive, so it's always a good time playing something with her. I am so excited to have her coordinate the chaos on the big day. The gal can really keep her cool in a stressful situation.
Usher
Star Sign: Gemini Pronouns: He/Him Maya: I've literally known this guy for his entire life. As kids, Hart and I did everything together. We grew up in the woods and would make-up stories together with our friends, acting them out and letting our imaginations run wild. We both grew up loving playing sports together and often found ourselves practicing shooting hoops or kicking the soccer ball around. While we're both profoundly different people, we've really connected as adults despite our differences. I mean, we're the only people who had the same exact experience growing-up how we did. And that's a bond that's for life. I'm so proud of the person Hart is and couldn't be happier for all of his successes in life. I love having a brother to be able to celebrate life's big moments with and am so grateful he'll be there for such a big day in my life. Hannah: I am the youngest of my siblings, and now, I feel like I get to have an adult little brother! I got to skip the annoying years and just move right to the friendship. Hart is such a great guy and it's been so fun to spend more time with him now that he is back in the midwest! He and I will always have something in common and that is being the youngest...we just get each other. It's a hard burden to carry, but we do it with grace. I'm happy to have Hart be a part of our special day!

Star Sign: Cancer Pronouns: He/Him Hannah: Joshua James Patrick. The man with the most names. Raised by a pack of women (not wolves despite popular belief)...He turned out to be a pretty great young man. It was dicey there for a few years, ya know... we all get a little angsty, and Josh was no exception. I have fond memories of creating mattress slides with him and Breanna, playing video games with him for hours on end, and our random road trips to Mall of America in his first truck, early morning, Monster in hand (I still hate the smell of Monster Energy Drinks). I'm happy that Josh is the male role model in my life, he is generous, caring, and funny, and a really great Dad. I'm super happy he is part of our big day! Maya: One of my favorite things about Hannah's family is how they all truly show each other how much they care through the actions they take to help each other out. Josh is definitely no exception to that. I think back especially to the time he helped us move, trekking all the way to St. Paul, and how he grappled with a tricky shelf that he mounted for us. It has been so much fun getting to know Josh through family gatherings and stories from Hannah. I can't wait to celebrate with him on the big day!
