Visit the beach! Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms are ~20 minutes from our venue, and offer relaxing beach days. Folly Beach has more traditional beach town amenities, and is ~40 minutes away.
Explore downtown Charleston! Waterfront park, the battery, rainbow row, and the church district are a few icons! The historic market and King Street are shopping destinations. Try one of many restaurants! Fleet Landing and Amen Street Seafood are two of our favorites.
Tour Fort Sumter! This landmark was the start of the Civil War. Nearby is the USS Yorktown and the fascinating World War II memorial to accompany it.
Hang out at Shem Creek! While downtown has a vibrant nightlife, Shem Creek offers a more laid back but trendy spot for drinks.
Pitt Street Bridge is a cute spot for a picnic or walk, and has an expansive view of the harbor. It' one of our favorite spots in town!
There are great golf courses in the area, such as Dune’s West, Patriot’s Point, Charleston National, and Wild Dunes.

Take a relaxing walk through the park and to the end of the Mt. Pleasant Pier to catch a glimpse of the boats and huge container ships sailing by. If you are staying at the Embassy Suites or Hilton Garden Inn this a great walkable destination.
