Question

What Covid-19 considerations will there be?

Answer

Neither us nor the venue will be requiring anyone to wear masks or socially distance - that is entirely up to you.

Question

Who can I bring as my plus-one?

Answer

We encourage you to use your plus-one if you actually have a date (and not just fill that spot with a friend), as we anticipate a full house. But you are more than welcome to speak with either of us directly on this if you like. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes, children are invited! We are inviting many whole families.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. If the weather is poor, we will move the ceremony indoors. The reception, meal, and dancing will be primarily indoors, but there will be plenty of activities (such as a firepit or games) outside.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal is the recommended attire.

Question

How and when would you prefer gifts to be sent to you?

Answer

We have 3 registries listed on our website: Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Zola. If you are feeling generous and would like to get us a gift, we would prefer you have gifts sent directly to us, prior to the wedding.

Question

Who is your caterer?

Answer

Mission BBQ will be serving us buffet-style with a variety of delicious entrees and sides.

Question

What will be served at the bar and is it complimentary?

Answer

The bar will be complimentary to all guests, and it will be serving boxed wine, beer, an assortment of soda, lemonade, and water.

Question

How long are we obligated to stay for the reception?

Answer

As long as you like! Festivities (including games, firepit, and dancing) will go on until 11p, so however much of that you want to be a part of is completely up to you!

Question

How will the vehicle situation work? Should we be trying to carpool with others? Are we able to leave a car at the venue overnight for any reason?

Answer

We will not require anyone to carpool, only if it is easy and comfortable. There is a limit to the number of vehicles we can have at the venue, but we don't anticipate to have a vehicle overflow. We expect household families to come together, anything beyond that is up to you. You can leave a car parked at the venue overnight if needed, it simply must be retrieved before 10 am the following morning. The vehicle parking will be free on site.

Question

Are you looking for any help before, during, or after the wedding?

Answer

You are not obligated to help in any way! We are delegating responsibilities to close family and friends. While you can certainly offer to help, we do not expect anyone to volunteer.

Question

What should I do if I replied that I will be attending, but later learned I cannot?

Answer

If you cannot make the wedding after you said you were attending, please let one of us know ASAP, preferably no later than the RSVP date (August 1st).

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media

Answer

Yes!

Question

Can I object to your wedding during the ceremony?

Answer

No, Isaac

For all the days along the way
